  1. 17" TE37s will fit over brembos, 6pot and 4pot... just have to get correct offset. if you have the PBR single pot at the rear, then any rims should clear
  2. have it on my XR8, stock pipes, centre muffler removed, just the varex at the rear. on quiet mode it's actually almost stock quiet, but when open, loud FG is loud
  3. don't be too hooked on power figure, we have worked out my capri has about 100rwkw drivetrain loss thanks to the glide, stall, 9" and slicks. get some decent reliable power and setup the suspension etc properly
  4. they won't fit straight up. nissans have a smaller locating hub. you will need to get about 0.5 to 1mm machined out of this before fitting, so they will fit.
  5. run 50psi to keep tyre beads on the rim
  6. will do about to head out to visit Monsta Torque so ill do it when I get home for you
  7. hahaha xoxoxox yeah I can bet you have a 2.5" front as I have a 3" front. which will explain the 0.5" in rim width
  8. http://www.japaneseperformancecentre.com.au/ unsure if its my net, or their site, but it's all ffuuccckkked up haha yeah the "muffin" look works on 15s and 16s, but it just damages tyres on larger size rims
  9. to be honest, I think all brands are the same, I'd hit up JPC for some of the jap brands, they are good. I think a pair of 5mm spacers arent too pricey at all I only increased my outer bands, inners remained the same at 7" and 7.5" respectively, front to rear, id love to reduce my centre but I dont think that's possible :( if you want grip etc, imo, better to have a skinner rim and tyre that fits, rather than a wider rim with a stretched tyre on it.
  10. chocolate? this is doo-doo baby... no spacers here pure rimzor hubs
  11. rolled guards and camber. I was able to run it with just the shim kit provided with the teins, but now I have the adjustable camber arms the 9.5 +12 (compared to the 10 +10) is 4mm closer to the upright, and 8mm more inside the guard what were they before? and did you just extend the outer shell? oh ok, ive got 2 to 3mm clearance up front, and about 10mm on the rear -- hell pisses me off ... I want the same clearance on the rear (2 to 3mm).
  12. hey jimmy, what's your clearances between brembo caliper and inside of spokes, for front and rear
  13. I think the 3+ is rated at 460hp ?? the 3+ is great in my FG, it's done 60,000km of hard km's without slipping but im not running your target power levels
  14. ^^ here's my FG 19x10 +19 , 19x10.5 +23 and when the fronts were still 9.5 wide, with a 30 mm spacer, making them 19x9.5 -2 (loooll)
  15. fuel cut = gay.... spark cut ftw ;D but better than nothing I've got SCT going on the car this week, so ill explore the 2step options with that if not, it will be time to play with stuff
  16. yep im two T's. Luke, is this the 2 step function you were talking about? as my sh*tter fg needs limiter lovin'
  17. something converting RS-232/485 to USB lol
  18. Luke, unsure, been a while since ive talked about that to him, probably will leave it for now just to get the car going
  19. I think my build thread has the images, but I think here has the most up to date photos http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=11243471&page=14 depends you interpretation of clearance issues, as in my books "rubbing's racing" haha. I've got a lot of suspension work done to match my fitment. I have my front guards rolled, and that's it, rears arent. it doesnt catch the guards etc. quite streetable.. lol
  20. pffft please point me to a high powered, auto, 4L turbo, that can go fast
  21. autos are only good for 2 things. 1) having a spare hand to eat with while driving 2) easy skids. haha
  22. there was a FR20 set made before simmons closed. was on a silver RX3 with massive dish brake dust is a bitch, but get them clean as you can, polish them, seal them, and the dust is easy to remove haha nice ! good work pics? I've got 10.5" wide on a sedan, it's possible
  23. people are talking about the increase in price from original simmons to the new timmons. both made in australia
