  5. If it's a leak - best way to test is to spray aerosol around the manifold ... The rpm will go up if there's a leak. Start Ya Bastard would be best to use

  12. I prefer not to go battery in boot due to the back door only being electronically opening. So if I have a flat battery, the jumper leads would have to go in a passenger door. Plus, it will be loaded up with all the race gear, so I'll need all the room I can get. Mace engineering do a nice passenger side airbox, so I'll look at getting something similar to that Black Wrinkle paint the box & the alloy pipe
  13. Usually a knocking sound on braking OR moving forwards/backwards from stationary. Like a clunk. You would hope not. Brakes aren't something any amateur should do, yes they are easy for the most of us, but some people shouldn't just do it ... They aren't like an oil change, they are safety related

  15. Good luck. Loose caliper even? The last car I helped work on had a knocking that turned out to be a loose caliper - scary to think my mate was driving around with a dodgy caliper when he had his family in the car

  17. Peter, go to Ape Suspension in wangara. Peter who works there spent 2-3 years developing FG suspension setups with my car. He knows FGs very well funnily enough. Go to him. Get it fixed. Will be done quickly

  20. New tow car for the Capri Built it over the last month or two. Bought stock as a rock. Luke has been instrumental with getting to software to run the setup & car. Much appreciated. Currently the car has a NA TMAP sensor in it limiting the car to 0.4Bar (5.88psi) - if I hit this, it hits boost cut (ETC fault) which is an easy quick fix, but it's a great way of saving the engine until I get the full tune in it. It will get tuned after I do some more testing on it - I want to iron out any little niggles before the tune. Shall aim for a safe 400rwhp as that should be enough in a wagon.
