  1. I have a pair of 215/45/17 Tyres and a single 225/45/17 - Bridgestone, hankook and continental brands, used, varying tread (50% to 95%) ... Just want gone cheap cheap
  2. All good, wasn't a hack just from what I've picked up over my years when I had my FG, Try Michelin 24-64-R18 S8C compound -- these were insane, best tyre I've used, 110% confidence, couldn't put a foot wrong with those ... Went to 27 width, and actually lost time. * just remembered rears were stretched onto a 9.5" too, so not optimal sidewall support Different tracks of course require different Tyres, wanneroo being abrasive and dusty (at times) worked well with these.
  3. What size 17s do you need? Have some non falcon sized ones, top brands, China prices
  4. Honestly, as tough as that will look -- you're better off selling them and buying tyres that aren't as wide. As once hot, they will have bulk grip so width isn't as much an issue, comes down to drivers throttle control and ability to keep the cars weight distribution constant/unchanged during cornering and braking
  5. Haha oh Brendon, you are correct. Purchased a Davies Craig Electric Booster Pump (23L/min) to circulate the coolant through the head, given I'm welding up the head and have no other water pump. Got the full kit through hampy for $130 - retail is $177 (ex gst) ... So very pleased about that
  6. Haha no sh*t hey. Not sure 275/40/17 will fit under my guards now I look at it, but Oh well, can always go 245/45/17 all around haha
  7. I actually like the XT interior - just simple and plain. Plus re-doing interior properly and fully is a huge job
  8. Pretty much. Now it doesn't look like a taxi lol
  9. They seem to go well, but as all cars, regular maintenance & mechanical sympathy go a long way
  10. Cheers. Tempted to paint centres to camouflage them in the wheel colour. Or use the bottom of coke cans & paint them. Haha
  11. I prefer driving a stock XR5 with suspension mods, over a mild xr6t
  12. Just waiting on 275/40/R17s to arrive ... The 235/45/R17s on the rear 9.5" wheels look roller skate spec. The fronts (9") are looking great with the larger 245/45/R17 Ps: anybody need any Tyres or spares? 215/45/17s x2 225/45/17 x1 225/40/18 x2 245/35/19 x1 16" steelies x5 17" XR stockies x3
  13. Yep !! I don't think the country dodgy works anymore -- they have been tightening up restrictions recently As mentioned before Phil -- talk to galvsport in Osborne park -- they got the COCHEE R32 GTR rego'd legally ... It's a bloody time attack race car lol
  14. Phil - I have: B series oil lines / water lines FG turbo dump & pickup BF turbo cast dump BF turbo fuel rail BF KTM heat exchanger BF turbo cams FG turbo fmic piping And a few other things I'd have to look at to remember lol
  15. They get stuck and jammed. Gotta degrease/clean the crap out of the connectors so they can open as Ralph said
  16. Does the tyre cause the insurance claim? If not, then zerof*cksgiven by insurance
  17. Mr Knapp loves it wet, really wet.
  18. I use a gasket, only because I didn't face my flange faces prior to install. Definitely a gasket on the dump
