  3. Swaybars settings, good Tyres, and driving technique (this was the major one)
  4. Yep... Well close. Took a lot of effort with suspension, brakes and setup. Worth every bit. This had no body roll haha

are we talking about falcons here?as it does seem fitting to them too
  7. Ok mini update: Box went in on Sunday 20th. Had shifter issues (very stiff / out of sync) ... Cable and box moved free when not connected up. Left it at that as I had F1 to watch. Next chance I had to look at the car was Saturday 26th ... Upon inspection, I noticed the shifter cable / brackets angle was too extreme, due to the BA trans having a s-bend lever compared to the BF trans having a flat lever. Chased up a flat lever, had it dropped off yesterday. So I'll fit that Friday morning & have a working transmission again. Luke sent me the Ford Manual transmission section... From there the below (BA trans) image came from The BA had a bracket bolted to 2 small holes, in the middle section of the bellhousing, with a S-bend lever on the box ... see diagram. The BF has a different bracket on the edge of the bellhousing, with a flat lever on the box ... thus my alignment issues
  8. nice brendon. SMS me a photo of the cast Throttle Body elbow when you have the chance, I've been contemplating one. re: saddle bushes, I was going to visit hampus in the coming weeks for a set for the lagon. should be indentical, have superpro and nolathane part numbers if you need them
  9. I've got jahlsberg cheese with my lunch today. Cost cutting ?
  10. at least it wont have runs
  11. comparo, without even driving it (cant, as I havent got the turbo BTR in yet), I can tell you there is no comparison. stock smaller solid rotor with OEM pad and repco fluid, versus, larger vented aftermarket performance rotor with performance pads & high temp race fluid. the goo is all the same stuff, hell, selleys all clear would even work they machine them down so the surface is flat, and the new pad can mate properly with the rotor ... otherwise it creates un-even wear. I didnt give a f*ck, as these were already matched up, so had worn together previously, so no new edges/surface wear
  12. I'm happy to hear that end of the day the Wagon is just a toy that I can throw some spare cash at, to keep me occupied ... so it's nice people are enjoying it
  13. PM me a price if you want ? I'll double check IRS sedan rears bolt onto a live axle setup Edit: never mind - I need a setup off a BF xr6t ute Peter - it replaced the 298mm (aka BA XR6T/BF XR6) setup - it has had a full service history at ford in its life, so I suspect it was OEM pads, but to be honest, I ripped them off and didn't look at them, didn't concern me. Yes, the red anti-squeal goo, but in moderation so it didn't look like junk on exposed pad... All second hand stuff, it looks almost newish, so no point switching them out yet.

either you're terrible at skids, or your car has something very wrong with it
  15. Removed N/A BTR last night, I'll install Turbo BTR & Cooper Stall on Friday morning. I have 5L of trans fluid, so I think I'll need to walk to my local repco for more, given I'm draining it and putting a filter kit through it. I'll grab a transmission mount while there. Fitted up my 322mm setup, DBA T3, PMU NS400, PMU GFour fluid. Cheers Aidan & Luke for sorting me with these, now I just need 328mm BF XR6T rears
  16. Lol wut ... Given all the cars ITP pump out. That's strange
  17. Thanks for that info handy to note. Luckily the diff takes up no room Cheers
  18. Hey guys, are these fair prices? Also tempted to source 328mm rear brakes if I can find some
  19. Sorry Lennox, I've sold it since. Ran out of room with cars. Just Capri and xr6t wagon these days. Was a fun car
  20. Well, actually, I had: house + FD RX7 + Capri + van ... Haha
  21. House > car mods
  22. House > car mods
  23. My experience was with 6pot PMU HC+ pads
  24. PMU is very dusty, black dust compared to the brown oem dust. Doesn't mark dish as bad either. A by-product of brakes working well, is dust
