  1. Bit of a head scratcher, for me at least, I've come to conclusion of cuntsf*cked. BA BTR 4spd, recently installed into BF. Running air trans cooler. 1-2-3-4 = work fine in tiptronic and D mode. 4th works, 4th gear kickdown works, 1st gear engine braking works Reverse = works fine when COLD When WARM, it needs about 2,000rpm over 3 seconds, back off throttle slightly, and then reverse engages with a big thud. When HOT, it needs about 4,000rpm over 3 seconds, back off throttle slightly, and then reverse engages with a big thud. Trying to work out if it is a: Line pressure issue Low fluid in transmission Reverse input clutch Anybody have an idea ?

  8. It was fast but felt calm, does that seem possible? It felt really slow. Lol
  9. Lol 3rd time out. 1st time out: 4.56 diff gears maxed out at 150m. So 1.23 (60ft) at 10psi on foot brake, 5.8 at 157kmh (200m) and 12.2 at 90kmh (400m) 2nd time out: New 3.25 diff gears Blew a water line first pass. Big save near wall. I was perpendicular to it. 3rd time out: 1.3 (60ft) went for 2nd gear, bang, engine blew big time, oil under tyres, passenger from there.

  15. 360 degree thrust bearing -- haven't looked into it, I have never had a built Barra before, could you quickly fill me in on that please? The prodrag6 works GREAT with the stock coils. There are lightening bolts coming out ! It ran 28psi on the old tech T51 (journal bearing), 5900rpm limiter, methanol, glide & stall, slicks & 9" on dyno... pumped out 680hp With this new setup, we will aim for 500rwhp (so I can learn the new setup and get licenced), will be good for mid 9s, so what would that be, like 15psi on this efficient setup? maybe less ... as it will rev to 7,500rpm ish ? we shall be going for a BIG power figure on the dyno though... if anything, for raceteam advertisement for potential sponsors

  17. those R888's will be utter sh*t until up to temp, it wouldnt take too long to warm (driving spiritedly a couple of kms), but still, when using the company FG F6, it used to step out at 100kmh when kicking down a gear (to overtake), R-comps on the vehicle, about 5 minutes into the trip
  18. 12 hour swings for me, 1 hour commute to site/camp (2 hours total) per day.<br />so essentially 14 hour days ... actually affecting me quite a lot now - my sleeping pattern is screwed, health (physical and mental) is suffering, and general morale (for the small few still not at the camp 5 minutes away) is low / ZFG spec

  22. Didn't know about the bolt thing, but everytime I do what Luke has just posted, so no dramas ahead I see. So they're new and have done 700km or have a lot of kms and had a skim 700km ago?I can get new ones from my contact for a very good price (ie: under trade) so unless they are very new, I'd have to pass ... Unless $50 will get rid of them? Then I'll use them for mockup
