    What age are the west lakes? Not new old stock ? IMO the kumhos are better than the west lakes, due to more tech in them, etc, first generation in tyres tends to be subpar, eg: ATR sports a prime example In saying that, I wasn't the biggest fan of ku's in general ... Ku36/rs3/r1r's = intermediates = semi semi slicks Re-55/r888/p-corsa zero = semi slicks Slicks = slicks lol As seen slick fitted on rim, Pirelli r-comp on left of that

    At 240 tread wear there are not even near a G compound semi slick ~ 80-100 last time I recall. They are an intermediate tyre that is approaching (but not) the equivalent of KU31s / toyo proxe 4s

    Getting told the only restriction my engine combo will have is the 68mm front wheel (PT6870) ... Feels f*cking good.

    My car ran fine on u91 on its methanol tune but I have this lol You will regret going methanol. I'm telling you for good reason

    Don't. E85 is a lot easier and way cheaper to setup My Barra loved methanol but it is not worth the trouble for a weekender let alone a daily

    WMMFGT -- new tyre changing hookup (still use Ryan @ Central for tyres) ... $9.50 container of Pad Thai from King Noodles Woodvale (they are soooo good) for all the tyres and wheels I want stripped/fitted/balanced/etc haha

    aren't the west lakes 220 UTOQ ? ie: Toyo Proxes 4 territory? true semi slicks are 60-100 treadwear, pending compound. I'd say they could be a well priced STREET tyre, pending age, I have noticed a lot of these tyres are a few years old already by the time they get to perth. next set of fronts ill find a new pair, and see how they are

    Is your manifold twin pulse? Or just your turbo (twin scroll) ? Saw an article talking to Kyle at 6boost saying a single gate on a twin scroll turbo is pretty much on par with the twin gate setup on the same turbo

    Just making life hard for yourself. Sometimes, ok usually most always, it's easier to bite the bullet and do it the right way first. A couple of people on here don't do that and never seem to learn. Don't be those guys. Lol

    Suggest using another place peter, $95/wheel is a rip, I was paying 45/wheel for 17s and 50/wheel for 18s ... Including sandblasting, priming and powdercoating. Mob also did engine parts in candy red too

    From Ovaboost (building engine & tuning) last night "Block stripped acid bathed . Getting 14mm studs done then comes back to add weight. Then machine shop again."
