  1. Haha ! then again, this ZF in question is a lot like a tranny, on the surface it looks fine, but once you get into it, you realise there are a whole lot of issues flashing up when getting a diagnosis
  2. LOL at above. the 322mm fronts (DBA T3 rotors, PMU NS400 pads, PMU GFour 335 fluid) work a treat. I do not need bigger brakes as I am not tracking it. huggy is kinda correct, the car once snapped towards the concrete wall, luckily I saved it... 2nd time out, not so lucky, tapped the front right on the wall, followed by the big left rear hit into the wall. if I get buried into the 1/4's sand pit ... ill be happy, it means ive run a decent FULL pass haha
  3. this ^^^ I bought the adaptor from Monta Torque. I had a HP tuner extraordinaire (who I may have quoted) tweak my BF PCM to suit the lower stepper mount count of the FG TB. works a treat
  4. Sorted out some 275/40/R17 ET streets. Time to become WA's fastest taxi
  5. f*cking hell. I feel stupider every time I read posts on this forum.
  6. Inspected plugs as per lord Luke's recommendation. #6 plug is piss easy with this tool setup.... Why do people make it sound more than a 20 second job for #6 ?
  7. Imagine this setup, but with smaller sized PT6870 and no radiator
  8. Just realised, Bart at SWB (AL sponsor) maybe able to help you out on rego
  9. Cheers. The more info the better Yeah that was the plan: to have a common motec shift light (like 10 high intensity LEDs) for any low/high oil/fuel/coolant/etc ... As soon as the light goes on, it goes off. I am grout filling the block, welding up the bottom of the head, running 14.3mm ARP headstuds with atomic oversize washers.... I dislike coolant haha
  10. For my situation, would one sensor, in dump ... Linked into motec with shift light warning setup ... So once a temperature reaches XXX, the light comes on, so I can shut off. Wise ? Or a waste ? Genuine question
  11. Had Philips 120 ones. Blew in a couple of months. Spewing
  12. It's going to be a pain in the ass. Not worth the cost if NA Go LS conversion
  13. Painted engine bay today, put front end back on, and made rolling again. Productive day.
  14. Haha wow, bought for $200 selling for $900. Turbo boxes aren't even selling for that much
  15. Phil how did the trans go? ... she back together and blazing tyres?
  16. is it worth the time off work for the extra $75/100 to arrange documents, defense, and court time to fight this?
  17. ahhh warranty <3 8 sets of diff bushes in 70,000km ... thank you ford.
  18. all good, I'm not having a go or anything ... just warning you about it from personal use/experience of it <img data-cke-saved-src="/style_emoticons/default/smile3.gif"src="/style_emoticons/default/smile3.gif" class="bbc_emoticon" title=":)" />
  19. mattyp, I love running methanol, but my car runs as often as peter makes a credible post that is under 2 lines of text. it is not worth the drama involved with it, for tuning, running it, fuel lines, and general storage (hell, it f*cks up your hand pump too, etc). you'd be crazy to go methanol with the ease and support of e85
  20. because they are cheap tyres marketed to drifters under the premise of r-comps due to tyre mould design they purchased to look like leading brand tyres
  21. Byo back seats, took my old 32 to motorvation back in 09/10 (?) with bean bags in the back lol
