  1. Sucksqueezebangblow are we still playing the aforementioned game?
  2. Oh I know this, this is the game where you get given an answer and you have to work out the question for it... I'll have a go, " What is your facial expression when Peter posts on topics? "
  3. Depending the market value - could be an economical write off :-/
  4. I have sidepipe, I don't hear tyres. Haha. But truth be told, I don't pay much attention to tyre noise ... Given that once I had to do a fuel run mid event from barbagallo raceway to burns beach road BP, 34km round trip, ok full slicks, sounded like a thunderstorm/hail in my guards
  5. Just a brand I purchased to test how the 245/45/R17 fitted... Didn't want to buy unusual sized quality tyres only to find they don't fit & are hard to sell. When the car was N/A it was running green tectaloy spec coolant ... Upon turbo conversion, I ran demineralised water (for a few flushes) to remove all the green elements. I was going to go Toyota red (the concentrate) but I Cbf doing the 50:50 mix manually, so I bought the pink coolant which is 50:50 premix
  6. Changed radiator, expansion bottle & coolant types today, went Toyota pink. While I was getting distracted I removed front bar, remounted my horn (wasn't connected), fixed a headlight connector and secured some wiring harnesses better. Nothing crazy but just good to get those done before summer really starts heating up Ahh that nizpro cooler Pinkkk Back on

    Cms Fg Xr6T

I had the same thing with my old EF XR6T ... homemade 3" stainless piping and a generic china cooler
  8. I have a blue car with transbrake... I suspect when the T56 equipped car goes back under load ... it would feel like mine
  9. it sounds like you have lost a brake caliper bolt
  10. if you can get one at the moment ... a few of the the bigger companies aren't hiring until late 2016, or have pulled their programs. I have two lined up, into the final 5 people in one intake (2 spots), and another spot pretty much sown up IF the industry climate is worth the other company hiring another aprentice
  11. yep, bingo, Offshore FIFO ROV pilot > Toyota storeman > Rio Tinto contractor FIFO technical writer ... and now looking to be an electrical/electronics apprenticeship. the only "nowhere" step was toyota, as I didn't know what I wanted to do after offshore, sort of the same for the Rio gig, luckily I had the quals to do the Rio gig, bonus of having stuff to fall back on ... but I dislike desk roles. apprenticeship will be less funds, way less, but I'll survive and still play with cars. and a major step forward
  12. bump. is the ute getting an euro/bmw/audi shark fin antenna to match?
  13. On Friday I had Luke (Ralphy) calibrate the 2-Bar BA/BF Turbo TMAP to the PCM, I've been running the 0.4-Bar Non-turbo TMAP, which was OK for a short term fix as it kept the boost down, but made it impractical, due to boost cut at 0.4-Bar & cold starting was an issue as the AIT was out of whack with the minor PCM changes for turbo base map ... With the TMAP calibrated, cold starts are great. Luke and I were also left with the ETC fault, we thought it was to do with the boost cut, but upon some digging around on HP Tuners software, Luke discovered it was due to the FG parameters being used on the FG Throttle Body, so with a quick change to BF TB parameters, the ETC fault was eliminated and wagon became useless in the wet even with the 275 Kumho's on it haha
  14. If people feel it is directed at them, then the shoe fits. But it Was actually something from a convo that occurred non-online today
  15. people who cry poor, yet spend their wages on booze/smokes/drugs now, people can spend their money on what they want, but they can't play the pity card when they can't afford stuff
  16. Luke (Ralph) sorting out my ETC fault issue near a bridge where hobos probably masturbate. The taxi paints now haha. Thank you dude
  17. Perth FIFO kids. Can buy a new car. Mod it. Thrash it. No f*cks given. Hate to admit it, but I was in that boat, brand new FG XR8 with a dead clutch after 11,000km, why? Because bulk skids and track events including drifting. Gone are the days of Falcons having "only one responsible owner".
  18. Does anybody want to swap my FG Turbo 2.5bar TMAP sensor for a B-series turbo TMAP sensor of theirs ? I'm currently have access to a B series turbo TMAP as a loaner but will require another one to replace it.
  19. That's going to be lovely for the valves and solenoids. I'd say kms are accurate, fordhold have always been decent .... So I'd say it's been in a car that's done bulk skids.
  20. has a broken ZF and no rego, so worth like $11k-12K ?
