  1. 25 here, have to love the sleeper spec pops mobile!
  2. Yeah charged the battery and it's all good so I'm keeping an eye on everything.
  3. When I say switch I mean the one under the plastic sill. After around 15mins the car switches power off to the seat, if the switch sticks the seat remains powered.
  4. It had only been sitting for around 6-7hrs, but as mentioned he was saying if the switch sticks the seat is drawing power constantly.
  5. Uncle was saying they have a problem with the elec seat switch sticking and draining power, have to get it looked at. Battery is on charge at home so I had to drive the Late model camira to work!
  6. Hey just wondering what battery the G6ET should have? Mine is a 430CCA, my uncle works for Ford and thought that the G6ET should have a battery with more CCA's, the 430CCA being used in the XT. Came out this morning to a partially flat battery so it wouldn't start.

  8. Thanks mate got it all sorted. Someone had attacked the scrivit head so screwdriver was no use, ended up just pulling it out with some pliers. I come from modding Holdens so this is new to me, but seriously torx screws to hold the top and bottom of the airbox together.......

  10. Hey all just wondering if you can all help, new to modding Ford's and am about to hunt down Ford engineers and kill them! I am installing the FG Xr8 airbox setup into my G6ET, so far I have removed the lower airbox (what spanner designed it with torx fittings to attach to the upper lid!), but for the life of me I can't work out how to get the snorkle off. It seems to have only the one fitting on the left side, but I can't seem to unscrew or pull it free. Am I doing something wrong? Help please! Thanks
  11. Just wondering if anyone has a copy of the FG or G6ET workshop manual? I have a BF copy but it doesn't cover the differences between the models obviously. Cheers in advance.
  12. Would be good to have a thread with no comments just images along with wheel make, size, offset tyre size and if lowered to what height. Just to have a visual log of how the different setups would look. Find it hard to get my head around it all sometimes!

  14. No troll here mate, just don't see why you are all getting excited over some black wheels and decals.
  15. Seems the factory setup or a modded factory setup will achieve what I want so to anyone interested the GTX will be for sale, PM if you are interested.
  16. More the fact it can record lap times, display gauges for oil temp, manifold pressure, etc and that it can be exported to a computer after. Also the weight saving with the wheels, etc All Ford have done is put some black wheels on and matt black stickers, hardly worthy of being a black edition.

  18. Hmmmm which came first this or the HSV SV black edition? HSV seems much more track orientated though.
  19. Famous last words!! I said the same until something new comes out. As mentioned a DSLR in the hands of someone who doesn't understand what they are doing is kind of pointless, as is using auto mode on a SLR. As for megapixles while yes you can get an awesome image with fewer MP's the higher the count the more flexability you have come post production. Each to their own, but I would go a mid to high end P&S over a low end SLR.
  20. If you are going that far down the DSLR list you might as well get a P&S. I guess it depends what you want to do with it, but I would hate to be cropping photos with 12MP's.
  21. Personally I would spend a little more and get a current model, the 350D is now over 6 years old if memory serves. Something like the 550D can be had for good coin now days.
  22. Think I might sell it, seems the factory/modded factory is good for the times I want.
  23. Can't I have both!! I would like it to run into the 10's, somewhere between a 10.9-10.5, but not at the cost of overall streetability. Have been in a mates 11 second XR and it drives not a lot different to how it did stock.
