  2. I have bought seat covers for my car, however I have been unable to get both smart side parts of the seat off, to fit the covers on.. I can take the seat off, I can take the backrest off... however I cant get the side parts off to fit the seat covers around. See the attached photo to get a better idea of what I am talking about. Thanks!
  3. Better fuel efficiency and slightly more power.
  4. Where is that photo taken..??
  5. HOHOHOHO!! It's spelt "Yaris", comedian. Thanks man... having done 120,000km's and it being only 5 years old. It shouldn't really need replacing, should it?
  6. I have a BA MkII XR6 that has done 120,000km's... It uses on average 13.5L/100km's. Ive been told that if I replace the o2 sensor, this should make my fuel efficiency improve. What I would like to know is: 1. Is this true? 2. Do I actually need to replace it??? 3. What is a o2 sensor?
  7. Hahah I needed the convincing! thanks man!
  8. So will a custom tune help him out with fuel efficiency?
  9. What kind of estimated rwkw's would I get with these mods? - K&N - Typhoon lower snorkel - 20% Under Driver Balancer - Custom tune
  10. That's decent! What about those under drive pully's that people talk about... are they any good? Do they consume more petrol?
  11. Hi guys, I'm interested in doing a few mods to my BA MKII XR6, that won't negatively effect my fuel efficiency! So far I've done the Typhoon CAI. I noticed more low end power, which was great! I know extractors chew through more fuel... so I'm kinda steering away from getting those installed. I've been told that custom tuning my car will give it more power and better fuel efficiency. Is this correct? Or just people talking sh*t? Are there any other mods that can I do? Cheers, Brett
  12. Just wondering what would be the best exhaust system for my BA MKII XR6 Sedan. I have been told big cats on the exhaust will give my car more power... but.. to be honest, I don't even know what a CAT is and what it does?! I ideally am after power moreso then a sick sounding car. If someone could please give pricing on products, that would be great too! Thanks guys, Brett
  13. Loving the wheels on that car man!

  16. It is inevitable... time will only tell
  17. Seems reasonable... but would need to see photos first.
  18. $650 dollars
  19. Amen to this! There is too much negativity in regards to the N/A's and not enough constructive and informative posting. If you are a turbo fanboy, and are just going to say, "buy an xr6t"... then you are probably better off not even posting in this section
  20. That looks mad!! Very professional look !
  21. Hi mate, I have the same setup as what you plan to have... and the answer is no, you cannot have the choice betweem which cd player you wish to use. Installing the aftermarket setup disconnects the original ford cd player. Therefore making it unusable. Here is an image of my setup:
  22. After a fair bit of research, I believe the best *bang for buck* is the f6 typhoon CAI, which you can buy for about $175 from F.T.G Auto Salvage. I just purchased an air box with snorkel and f6 intake mouth(which is basically what the f6 typhoon CAI is), and also a k&n filter.. so I will let you know how it goes once I've installed it
  23. I drive my car pretty conservatively.. but occasionally give it a bit of stick on the freeway home from work and I average 12.5l/100km's. (This is driving in peak hour traffic both to work and home 5 days a week)
  24. That looks awesome dude!! Professional job! Love it
