  1. Happy Birthday BonScottstar!

  2. Happy Birthday BonScottstar!

  3. Yeh Havn't driven the auto Turb yet, but not really planning on going to too many drag nights :smilecouncil: Speaking of which, does anyone have any links to good pages for info of T's or stuff, good to learn and read up on? Don't have much prior knowledge on the Ba's...
  4. Yeh Going to get a mk2 6-sp, just wait a bit till I get a fair amount of the money, not a fan of big loans. Might make it a B'Day present...
  5. Hmm well its food for thought, really want a manual so might wait till push comes to shove and see how the prices are going on the different versions.
  6. And this is the type of talk that's making me steer away from the mk1 T... even if running essentially stock?
  7. Well you've shred some light on the situation, thankyou very much. Have to say this is an awesome forums, not many good ones out anymore. Get some affairs in order and probably pick one up as an early christmas present for myself Thinking of it already, 5sp T... sounds too tempting to wait...
  8. Well that was a far quicker response then I've had from other forums, thankyou Yeh it was a serious question, nice way to make me feel a bit dumb onboost But yeh I could only go off what I've heard. Might just keep my options open for the moment and see what happens to the pricing of them, my goal is a mk2 T but don't particularly want to just settle for a "below average" one just for the sake of getting a mk2. Stupid question... but do you have to put a seal kit through the turbo's when they start hiting the 100k mark?
  9. Hey, howsit going? Thinking its time to upgrade from the xg xr6, so tossing up my options Contemplating between a BA mk1 xr6T or a mk2 xr6 na (hopefully with prem sound) I'll be leaving them both essentially mechanically stock (short of possibly a bov or a bigger intercooler for the T), but I've heard bad things from the box in the T. Which leaves me to my question, would I be better off getting a T or a mk2 n/a? Don't particularly want to be living with my hand in the pocket with box/diff repairs....
