I've got the same issue, has anyone with an iPhone 4 (not just iOS4) tried this and does it work?

Hi All, I have an FG XR6T (November 08), also have an iPhone. iPhone connects, works for a while I can make calls etc... and then although its still "connected" I can no longer use the car to answer or make calls, I usually wait till I get to a red light, turn car off and then on and then once again I can play "bluetooth roulette". Car went in for its 30k service on Wednesday, there is a new software Mod for FG's that make the iPhone work, BUT, if your car is older then 6 months (I think) its a $450 (retail) upgrade. Has anyone done this, or have taken delievery of their new car in the last few months, the reason why I ask is that I want to make sure the iPhone works, and if it brings your address book names up or just numbers. Hi All, I have an FG XR6T and iPhone 3G 3.0 (not GM, commercial release). No change, works for a while and then bluetooth no longer works.........bugger.

Hi All, Does anyone have the iPhone 3G working correctly, I have the issues where it will work for one call, then will "disconnect" until the car is started again. Only picked up car on the 27/11/08. Thanks All.

Hi All, Just picked up my FG XR6T (money well spent), I plugged my 4th 16Gig Nano in expecting it not to work, AND IT DID, full functionaly menus everything. Exellent. I also have an iPhone that connect via BT, you can make a call, but when you hang up the BT dies. Anyone have this issue?

Hi All, Sorry if this is a double up of another Topic, but here is the question. Picking up my New FG XR6T on Sat and wondering how long should I run it in for before I can really open it up. I drove the test drive car like a drunk mad man (as we all would) and was thinking how long should I wait till I start to play with mine. Thanks All!

We'll that news is very welcome. Hopefully the update lets the 4th Nano's work and I won't feel bad about dropping $ 200 on it. Let's see if the date becomes real and not TBA.

Hi All, I pick up my FG XR6T on Friday, but when I test drove one a few weeks ago I took my 4th Gen Nano along to try it and although the sound worked fine, the iPod shows on the ICC as "unsupported" and you cannot control from the car (only from the iPod). I have also read on another forum that there are no plans to support this, unless someone from Ford wants to confirm for me and make me an extra-happy customer. Sure the car is quick, but I can't change songs

Hi All, iPod question, I am about to take delivery of my FG XR6T (Tech + Lux Pack) and I stupidly didn't check what iPods would work with it, needless to say my new iPod Nano 16Gig (4th Gen) arrived 2 weeks ago. I have tested it in another FG and whilst it works the screen in the FG displays "unknown device" (or somthing like that) and you cannot control it. Does anyone know if/when Ford are relasing an update for this?? Thanks in advance.
