  1. Is your car modded at all? I'm running a completely stock BA XR6T and I'm pushing to get 250km's to a tank of LPG. I've had months of work (testing, dyno, calibration, tuning and now new injectors for LPG) and I'm still getting the same results. The new injectors now have an issue of starting, it takes 10 - 15 seconds to kick over and this is said to be "normal" and to run it in over 1500km's. But, most people are very hesitant to give results of how many km's they're getting to a tank, 300 - 350km's I'd be happy with, as Icom say it's supposed to be within 15% of your fuel economy. I get 450 - 460km's to a tank of petrol....... which should put it somewhere in the 350km's mark for LPG.
  2. If the kit costs them $4700 or so to BUY, why would they do the labour for free? It works, but I had to fill up this morning, did just on 200km before it beeped at me and switched back to Petrol. Run Brett @ APE/Graham West and let him know. I've also noticed even with a full tank of gas, sometimes it feels sluggish (like the brake's are catching?). Anyone else experience that?
  3. Yeah I did, isn't that normal? They're not just going to install it for free... ? Problems with mine are all fixed, was supposedly an oxygen filter, I don't know how they didn't pick up on that in the first place though? :(
  4. Yeah, my system was $4700 or so too, but ~$85 an hour x 10 hours = brings it up to $5500, then loan car, etc too. I've taken it in to get fixed today, I'm hoping I don't get charged for the loan car, but I'll talk to them about that when I get there Did you have any issues with yours?
  5. Yeah I will be first thing tomorrow morning... $5500 for installation ~$200 for loan car, spark plugs, etc. Yeah the JTG icom system.
  6. All installed, looks great, few problems though; Very grindy at high speed (80kmph+). Cuts in and out and feels like it's going to stall most of the time. Very flakey, can't put my foot down without it slowing down/lots of power/feels like it's going to stall/grindy/then lots of power. ~135km's done on a 65lt tank, red light has now come on. Not impressed so far :( But it was Graham West's first LPG install, I tried ringing yesterday but Brett wasn't in, will ring again on Monday, I'm hoping I don't need to wait 2 - 3 weeks to book it in, I'd feel as though it's a waste of nearly $6k.
  7. Got my BA in yesterday for the conversion, should have it back hopefully before Easter
  8. Thanks for that Brett and thanks for your replies over email. I will call up shortly to book my car in
  9. You sir have made my day, thankyou Have just emailed him.
  10. I think it's the liquid lpg injection, there's another thread on it here somewhere with it.
  11. Anyone know where I could get it done ? Parnell are in Adelaide, I've sent them an email already.. Also I've seen the cost is going to be around $4400, that's not too bad at all... also how long would a job like this take? Edit; btw it's a BA XR6T.
