I've got an 07 xr6t I brought it demo + dealer driver in mid 08 with 10000 roughly I'm just ticked over 270,000, within the first 20,000kms after I picked it up when I brought it drove out of lynford fuel pump failed and throttle box same day ha, did the headgasket twice, wiring harniss caught fire auto headlights failed, premo icc unit has failed 5 times to date, diff replaced with recond one and leaks ford not covering under warranty, mates and I fitted a 2010 FG xr6 turbo motor to it in march, AM/FM radio has never worked since new so never used it always had ipod connected with the similar connection FG's come with, turbo bearings failed at 240,000 got good run out of it, only thing not replaced is the 6 speed gearbox which maybe doing this weekend and yes would like to admit sometimes give the car a work out, but everything else is spotless inside the car no torn seats and scratches or dents inside or out interior is absolutely spotless BEAT THAT :D

Rough gear change, torque convertor stuffed and when you put your foot down at the lights feels like your have put it in 2nd gear until boost kicks in then its normal and random hissing noise when you put it in Drive or Reverse but disapears when neutral and park is selected

Hi All, first time in a few years been on here good to be back I've got a 2007 bf series 2 xr6turbo had since demo zf 6 speed auto gearbox cars only got 281,000kms but after I've changed the motor after mine was completely stuffed and got a fg xr6turbo engine made very small changes to fit the BF, I noticed a clicking noise and hissing which wasn't that loud prior to the change after the change it became slightly louder and hissing noise was much more audible that was back in march this year 2012 now I've sourced down a gearbox from a perth wrecker called walliston auto wreckers wonderful people same place got the motor from my question is I will be changing the Gearbox ford keep telling me that its not possible to just swap them over as its some wank process involved and said that the 6 speed auto boxes never die "HAHA" Kind Regards Daniel Son

I've successfully fixed my icc unit from randomly shutting down and screen cutting out I've also successfully fitted Premo sound to a mates car which never had premo for under Any questions anyone has just ask I can't repair icc units that's been in a crash or turned upside down or dropped but turning an icc unit upside down has never done anything to me but don't turn yours upside down Regards Daniel

Hello I'm daniel been on here for about a year give or take couple of months ago I went out and traded my ba 2 xr6 for a bf2 xr6turbo speks:::: so far I've found out that my xr6t is a quite unusual one as it has better internals compaired to the early xr6t as mines the very last of the BF2's they came with the typhoons parts which is great I guess but anyway Engine: Barra245t 4.0i turbo Body: Sedan Color: White always wanted it for years now and finely got it non premo sound :( not that I wanted it Kays when brought: 18000 YTD: 30000 that's since january 10 to april 14 normal seats ZF 6 Speed Senquential auto as I requested not the biggest manual fan even though I got my license as a manual as standard LSD diff and my favourite feature of them all the 3 Antenna's on the back window no mods to the boost unless someone has a flash tuner for a bf2 xr6turbo they wanna sell me since I brought it I've put on bulk kays going to and from work as I work on the mines but its the best ever as they had back in 1998 on the AU Falcon TV AD: possible the best falcon ever
