  1. How many people arent running a good firewall and antivirus combination on the computer. OK. type Start>Run type msconfig hit <enter> Then go to the startup tab adn unselect things that you do a search for at google or something and determine are not supposed ot be loading. Than reboot and remove the buggers from your PC Next step is install some protection on your PC, and always be careful what you run on your computer. Things like Kazza install software called savenow.exe which slows you PC down like sh*t on the interent. So it is the first thing you need to remove you cunning one  Scruffy
  2. If you can find a DV-b400 then they cost around $200. I just got back from getting one from the good guys at penrith. I will now be having fun hoooking this baby up. I have a bit of experience with antennas etc so I will keep you posted as to what I can get going antenna wise, I think drilling a hole in the middle of the roof is what I would suggest Ken does on his install if he does it Scruff
  3. OH yes and have fun Scruffy
  4. Do not accept that car if there are ANY paint defects at all. I know this is hard when you have waited so long but at least if the paint job they do is sh*t to fix it you can get a new car as until you accept it it aint yours. I have been gotten with this as have others on this site, from memory it was bugs legs under teh clear coat. I just had dust specs on bonnet and drivers front guard. Respray is crap and done by local panel beaters you will always know its there so make sure it is right. Also pay real attention to panel alignment especially the doors that they are not mounted to close together. Mine would bang together when clsoed on the passenger side only just enough so that after about 3 weeks the paint chipped off, maybe sooner as it was the passenger side and I never go to that side hope all goes well Scruff

  17. Trough Lolly, Stop while your ahead mate. Take this as a lesson that one should always read and learn more about people and what they know or own before they start insulting them. I would love to see your van one day MS700, I am a closet doff doff listening man. I ran a very small system in my old car ( still have it ) I dont know the SPL levels it produced I just know it was damn loud to me. I am now paying the price with what I suspect is hearing loss. Anyone who says it doesn't do it to you will find the answer out themselves in the end so its is useless trying to tell them otherwise if they aint listening. ON topic, I do find the Prem sounds to distort very early IMHO. As to where the source of it is one of the audiophiles here may hold the answer. Head Unit, AMP, Speaker, Cables. who knows be glad to here the answer. I don't however want to listen to it that loud but once up into the 25's it does sound harsh and distorted so yes NYOPA, I just turn it down to a comfortable level and hope my hearing doesnt get any worse. Does anyone else feel that the effort made on teh LCD display of the stereo is a poor attempt. In an age where stereos come with flashy lights of all sorts. It seems food has provided us with a dos style interface that is plain and boring when you consider that the LCD is a true full colour device. I wonder if there is anyway to get some new software put intot he head unit that would make some cool rrrs displays come up like a nice flashy spectrum thigy or something. I think the Premium system is good value for what you get but it could be a hole lot more with very little effort to glam it up a bit. Scruffman
  18. I was rather still leave them optional so you can choose what you want. They should make more options available thou I feel. Some things should be standard like Illuminated window switches. Hard to think that hyundais come with them be BA XRs dont Scruffy
