  2. I would be interested to know from anyone what type fo signal the LCD screen in the ford can take. Do we actually require the Blau box at all? Is the BA/DVD intereface needed? It seems to me that the Blau box only lets us run multiple video sources in & out so if I only wanted to plug one thing in like the sat nav why do I need this box for assuming my sat nav has teh right video level to plug into the BA/DVD box. Ok so question are 1. What video signal is required to into the LCD 2. What video signal is required to plug into the BA/DVD box? answering these two will allow me to answer if the Blau box is needed. Thanks Wayne

My car is at the dealers waiting to be picked up and has been since Tuesday. Manufacture date on plates is 24 March 2004. I also had a delay of 1 week only due to missing parts at FPV. can't explain why I got mine so early but other are still waiting but I aint complaining. Hope yours arrives soon. I am sitting here just waiting for the Finance company to call up and say go get it. Wayne PS. 13. I havent got my car yet! so I can't answer the question but I do have another question. I am upgrading from a VR commodore. When I sometimes go manaully thorugh the gears if I leave it in first and rev the s**t out of the car it will automatically change to 2nd gear. 2nd gear will the bounce on the rev limiter without changing well at least I hope its the limiter Does the new T auto do this feature as well? To help me protect my car from my stupidity. Wayne

  15. Thanks for the replies on the process. At least now I know the salesman wasnt just leading me on when he told me they where waiting on a part at FPV. Doesn't explain the incompatence of the parts orderign department Damn why is wiggys ready before mine. Damn. Still im happy with a 4 week turn around. As long as it is now longer than 4 weeks. The options I am getting are listed underneath in my siggy area. But here it is Phantom Leather XR Matts Tints Towbar Prem sound Aux Sound input Wonder if I can buy the option where it makes my wife not whine about being pinned back in her seat most of the time. and holding on for dear life as we go a little quicker into corners. :banghead: I hope to be able to come on some trips with you guys when it turns up. Wayne
  16. Poeple in the know. I have ordered my new turbo on teh 1st March 2004. Saleman told me that it would be delivered on the 22nd March. Got a call from said salesman on 23rd March telling me that the car was waiting for a part at FPV. In his initial call on around the 18th March I was told the car was getting the interior installed at the moment and would eb heading over to "FPV" for the tuning. So I have some questions. Is the standard six installed in the the car in the initial build and the turbo added by FPV later? What "tuning" is done by FPV if the turbo is infact already fitted to the engine before install in the car. Just trying to figure out what process the car goes through when its being built for interests sake. Anyways I am now expecting my baby to arrive next tuesday Thanks Wayne
  17. A mate who has a stock Standard XR6T with manual ran a 13.97 best time at eastern creek street meet at the old track. FYI Scruffman
