who u use for computers mick?? logicar?? there a bunch of useleess pricks had a vito van here 3000rpm limit, been everywhere, went to merc dealer etc, not find problem send computer to logicar comes back as tested ok, problem still there!! send computer to injectronics in hallam they repaired it runs fine revs right out now!! and that's only one example ive had from them

hey simon, I just dynoed that gold vl today, what was here other week, t51r, glide, running e85 its running 34psi, ill tell u next time ya in shop what power it made, took it for a spin round block, does good skids!!

bov = blow off valve, hes got a good one, std one was used to mock it up, there is an auto builder I know of, that is building a few turbo 400's with transfer cases to suit rb26 gtr skylines garunteed up to 1000rwhp I would think that would be next mod if/when it dont hold together

under battery intake pipe, there only 2 1/2" most of them, turbo inlet is 3" so pipes a resticrtion run it straight out to a 3" pipe filter, or go a big air box setup, ones I do have a 6" bell mouth, 6" k& n filter, then goes to 4" and tapers down to turbo at 3"

hi joel, I run up a ve gts 08 307kw badge manaul car other week, std tune it made 227rwkw doesnt even add up to whats on badge at motor and my last version software didnt have air temp probe, no ramp test, only load and speed my own car made 231rwkw new software using shootout mode temp probe on wall mine made 232rwkw I was surprised it wasnt higher, depends if tuner is honest operator

try vcm suite in knox, I think they have just released hp tuners to do them or on the verge of releasing it, I no they were testing a 300c a while ago

ive had a few runners power ported by specailised power porting in ballarat area andrew saunders, he flow tests them before and after, avaerage increase of 30cfm per runner, on rb 30 lower runners, cost round $500-600 worth it if your chasing every last bit, he can do turbo comp covers and exhaust housings as well, effectively increasing the ar/ size of turbo while still looking std

yeh but they spent alot of time when it was first released on the el-ef, which was not turboed, why waste money on new moulds when they can use ones theyve all ready got, everthing can be improved on, if not there wouldnt be places like edelbrock etc, if the ford factory got it so right??? -

alot of testing going on in my car now, my dyno has just been upgraded to latest software/ hardware by dyno dynanmics, as it was 14 years old!!!! so back to back tests with just my plenum vs std plenum, etc

I am a dealer for these, used a few 76mm ones on gen 3 setups, worked a treat, std ls1, 76mm roller, 10psi 460rwkw mainline dyno, another one I did 76mm ls2 std 14psi 580rwkw mainline dyno, and backed it up 147mph vy ute id recommend them to anyone and everyone, im going to put a billet wheel 70mm on my own xr6 soon

there was a guy on ebay, selling modded looms to use in conversions, just have to disable vats in computer same dealas with ls1 conversions, could try castle auto elecs they do alot of factory modded looms for early cars.

vcm suite is hp tuners, same thing just dont need a flash box, so is cheaper to tune

I can supply u a billet turbocharger cheaper than a new ford one, they have ceramic roller bearings, a sh*tload better than a std one, can get with a bigger comp wheel 66mm etc

I was there spectating, fuking cold night perfect weather to run in,car park was full of xr6 turbos, pitty more didnt go in and run, u got the top end there just get some good tyres and practice on a quiet private road ya launch, I use to do it in me vl, learn to pedal to get a good take off,good luck, hopefully mines out there soon aswell. jamie
