yeh probably a little over the top there, 400rwkw on petrol is not a problem and easy, but 400rwkw on E85 is on the limit of a 044 plain and simple, FYI 4th gear in the ZF auto is not 1:1 its actually 1.14:1 and 5th is .97:1 so no matter what gear you run it in it will never be 1:1 like 3rd was in the 4 speed and 4th in the manuals is..
-
nah all good, shoot me a email tomororw and ill get it back on and do it in 4th, BTW your injectors are past "pretty much on there limts"
-
so you think a car that has maxed injectors and fuel pump is a safe car to drive on the street let alone down the drag strip? and I said 80lb injectors would not make 450rwkw on my dyno, which it didnt, it made 421rwkw.. and they are maxed out with not 1 little bit of head room in it at all, sorry for trying to inform people of these PROVEN facts, I wont waste any more of my own time showing people things like this.. im sorry my dyno dosent read as high as others out there but nothing I can do about that.. I suppose ill just keep going on doing fuel systems with enough in reserve to cover the unforseen if it were to happen if people dont want to know about it not really my problem...
-
more records than you... lol im done with this forum, have fun
-
hahaha nice try... funny how neither of those 2 shops have a coyote that runs anywhere near what my customers do.. infact not one manual coyote in the country comes close to it... lol idiot
-
so yes I can see your clutching at straws to try anything on you can.. give it a rest your just making your self look like a bigger dick head.. I already said bring the car back and ill take time away from my 5 day old daughter and run it up again just to keep a wanker like you happy. old mate has the sheet with boost on it, im sure he will post it up so you can see how the car was ramped up.
-
actually to make it fair... old mate can drive the car him self on the dyno if he has a problem with the way I have done it, then there can be no one saying I ramped it wrong lol
-
yeh its soo easy to fudge numbers by ramping the car up... its such a difficult process to press a button with your foot on the floor... pretty easy to tell when the foots not on the floor as the boost wont be up there.. but it was at 21 psi on the first run and 22psi on the second which looking at the graph there is exactly the same.. why did I take it so far? the owner was standing there and had no problems with the way it was run, I explained to him I wouldnt run it that lean but its been running like that for how ever long so hes obusally happy with it.. he has a tune for eflex and a tune for united, we even reloaded the tune to make sure it had the right tune in it but it made 5rwkw less after it was re loaded any thing else you want to try on? maybe try and say im not doing something else right? pretty funny I said the car would make between 410-420rwkw before it even arrived at the shop then it rolled up 421 then 416, funny because that's exactly what every xr6t that runs 129-131mph makes on my dyno.. if I was playing games like you are keen to imply how would I have guessed what power it would make with in a few kw?? the only way is that it runs the same mph as other cars I have done and they have all made 420rwkw in 3rd gear on my dyno,
-
yeh cool shoot me a email I dont think ill be in tomorrow, wednesday morning should be ok for a run,
-
if you want it run in 4th gear bring it back and ill run it in 4th no problem there but dont be suprised when it makes less power.. its a a1000 pump which flows approx 1.5x a 044 and the base pressure is 55psi not 40psi fuel was united and siemans 80's and no there should be a error margin in there, afr is up to .87 at one point and sits around .85 which I would not run it that lean as im my workings there is no power gain from going from .80 to .85
-
the RPM on the mainline as I explained to you once you get over that point the injectors are no longer being controlled which was at about 5200rpm.. I can give you a graph with the start and end of it cut off it so it looks the same as above, but there is a lot to see by going from the start to the finish..
-
a customer with 345rwkw has run 124 another has gone 123 with 335rwkw so somewhere around that.
-
as far as I am aware yes you are required to have a have a cat!
-
its no problem, more than happy to run it up if anything just to keep me on my toes and make sure im on the ball, 420 lines up with the other xr6ts that have run 129-131mph in the past hence I was pretty certian it would make around the 410-420rwkw mark. there is always going to be 2 ways to do everything and everyone is going to have a different idea on things, I suppose I just like to be on the cautious side when it comes to fuel systems and injector sizes etc as I have seen what happens when something unplanned happens like a boost spike etc..
-
3rd or 4th dosent make that much difference, 5rwkw maybe, I always do the autos in 3rd, every one has a different idea on what gear to use, doing this car in the same gear as the rest of them means I can compare the data etc..
-
that is where the ecu looses control of the injector and it is locked wide open.. so any boost spike or something like that will cause it to lean out etc..
-
here is the graph http://www.castlehillexhaust.com.au/files/FGinj.jpg car is running leaner than I would personally would run it on this boost, if I was doing this car I would have 40% larger injectors as it sits now which gives it 120lb the way it is to regain control of the injectors and get the mixtures back to what I would normally run, but with future mods the 160lb are really the best option..
-
421rwkw on 21psi injectors maxed reflashed tune in to make sure right tune was loaded 416rwkw on 22psi injectors maxed even more.. this is with 55psi base fuel pressure not 40psi like I usually run, as I said the 100lb max at 420rwkw on 40psi base.. ill put graphs up after lunch
-
yeh got plenty of fg's running 130+ but the fuel systems are done my way, one of them has done 80,000km on eflex and the tune hasnt been touched in 2 years and it only runs 131mph on street tyres.. I just dont agree with under doing fuel systems on ethenol.. there is not a great deal of room for error with it, if people want to run on the edge then that's there call but I wont do it to my customers cars espically ones that get used at the drags or on a circuit.. anyway old mate will be here in 45min.. will see what it makes.. if it runs 129mph I would expect it to make 410-420rwkw so we will see. be good info for everyone any way as ill log the injector duty
-
hahah what ever, quite easy to tell who is full of sh*t when the insults happen... physics says it cant be done.. plain and simple.. people playing fudge dyno figures dosent over come the physics... you cant make a a pump flow more than it can flow plain and simple.. you can screw pressure to make injectors flow but then the pumps dont flow.. FYI our GTP makes 461rwkw on our DD and 460 on a mainline.. its only the fastest manual in the country with no one with in .3 sec.. so I suppose ill go back to school and learn how to make things work...
-
Wheel spin, change the bottom axis to road speed and it's not there but no point having equipment that can give 100% accurate rpm and not use it!
-
Yep I'll be in about 10am, 96802777, Winding fuel pressure has other problems like your 044s flow a lot less on 80-100psi like up to 50% less.. It's all about putting the right parts in the car to do the job right with out stressing any thing, much better off putting 160lb injectors in and running 40psi pressure than having 100lb injectors and 100psi pressure, you cannot tell the difference in the way the cars drive when tuned correctly, the injectors cost the same so no reason not to do it correctly the first time
-
a single 044 flows 4.4L per minute of fuel at 40psi 75lb injectors flow 4.5L per minute, so your pump will be out before your injectors. mid to high 300rwkw would be around the range for that one
-
here you go , I did get to 450rwkw on this car before it stopped due to running out of injector.. http://www.castlehillexhaust.com.au/files/ute.jpg

68/4 Hoyle ave castle hill call before coming my wife just had a baby so I'll be in and out for the next few weeks, but I'll be there all day tomorrow! Just had to go drop some rubbish in the bin so I printed a graph I'll upload it when I get home. 412rwkw, id1000 injectors, 95% idc
