hey everyone..just got me new cooler today, my problem is I need the piping, just wondering if it would save much money getting the measurements and correct angles from other xr6s and getting an exhaust place to bend them up or going and buying the complete set spcific for the cooler...thanks people just interested to see if anyone else has tried this and the outcome....thanks

hey everyone once again thanks for all your input....... well after everything n talking to people I gave the car to cv performance to fix, im sure everyone knows this but the were a pleasure to deal with and im extremely happy with the way it turned out and ill definaltely be going back there ( hopefully soon). they sent the turbo out to be rebuilt, got my 12psi actuator, wastegate mod, bigger injectors and a custom tune. car only had a 5" high flow cat and it made 258kw...so now saving for cooler and full exhaust....... once again thanks to u all, espcially joe g (RIPGMH) for putting up with me asking question all the time at work lol. and cv performance cant wait to get back there...cheers guys take care

yeh ive red the topics about it now lol, bit to late for that but I will be aware of that problem in the future. just got some quotes from gcg in condell park but will shop around, maybe ill look at this as an opportunity to keep the car off the rd for a while to more mods done ....... also yeh car is a lemon had so many problems with it.....ill keep u guys posted thanks for all your help

cheers guys much appreciated thanks for the replies, ill try take some photos over the weekend...yeh its gone I took off the piping from the turbo to the manifold and was able to physically rattle the impeller, ive inspected for shavings of steel my guess the bearing has collapsed.... ill get some pics up over the weekend...thanks guys much appreciated.

hey everyone ive been a member 4 a while but this is my first post. im pretty cut at the moment, I just limped home from work on a blown turbo, just wondering what your recomendations would be, rebuild current turbo, buy a stock replacement or possibly rebuild and modified...any comments much appreciated, also if anyone knows of any good specialist in sydney please let me know. cheers everyone thanks
