  6. Hey guys, can anyone recommend someone on Brisbane's southside that can have a look at my diff (not Ford). Cheers
  7. By afr's do you mean air fuel ratios? And another dumb question is does having a tune mean you can set your boost higher using the computer? cheers
  8. Hi all, Just installed a turbosmart tee piece in my xr6t. Running 7 pound now. made a big difference and my otherwise stock setup seems to be handling it quite nicely. Just wanted to hear people's thoughts on what I've done, and to now if anyone else has tried this.
  9. Wow, didn't realize that it had lubricant in it. It is pretty discoloured. Cheers for that fellas, I think I'll change it today.
  10. Dude, I went for bosch iridium 4 prong plugs. seems to be working nice for me.
  11. Hey man, Seems to me your having issues with your starter motor gears and or flywheel gears. Obviously when your engine is cold its harder to turn over and the gears grind. When you've been driving it and the engine is warm its going to be easier to turn over. This is just my thoughts dude, im no mechanic. If I were you I'd be having a look at the starter motor for its alignment with the engine. If your mechanically minded take starter off and check gears. If not I'd be gettin it to your mechanic pronto before you wreck something and are up for big bikkies. Let me know how you go. Cheers dude
  12. Hey all, Just had my baxr6t.ute in to ford for an extended warranty service - all waz ok, had a dodgy front right ball joint so they replaced it under warranty. Told them about the clunking noise in the rear and they said it was a loose spring leaf (?????) and that they had tightened it for me. But the clunking noise was still there when I left. All in all I was pretty happy with Fords service. They did however tell me I need my front pads replaced urgently (withing 2000 kms) - looking into that. And that my radiator fluid needs changing urgently also. My question is why would radiator fluid need to be changed 'urgently' and is it something I can do myself? (being fairly mechanically minded). Cheers guys

  14. Hi people, I just purchased some racetech gauges (boost and oil) off ebay and didn't get a manual. Wondering if anyone has a copy or anyone electrically minded that can tell me which wire is which coming out the back of the gauges. Cheers
