just finished reading the whole thread some of the economy figures blow my mind away,8-12.5L -100km are you for real.I would struggle to get those figures out of my lawn mower.City driving in sydney would be happy with anything just under 20L-100km and on the open road 12-13L-100km Cheers Nick

watched the maury povich show,its about momma trying to find the father to her kids.(they DNA test the blokes)One momma had been on the show 12 times with 12 different blokes and still had not found the kids dad.So today she thought she would find him for sure,brought in 4 blokes and guess what none of them were the father.This momma 16 blokes and still counting, wonder how high the final count will reach.Its showed flash backs the first bloke tested was her husband ,then she came out and said she cheated on him with six blokes more like 60. hi mate tyre wear in the middle is a sign of over inflation ,do you use the servo's gauge or do you have your own.Most of the servo's gauges are out as they get knocked around dropped,and the servo's owners are tight arse's and wont replace them.Check them with an other gauge and you might find there is more air in there than you thought.Also check it when towing as air expands when heated.Run my fg at about 36 ,wear normal.Cheers Nick

it's probably where the top and bottom of the mould meet.It surely can't be a joint line.Even cheap retreads aren't joined there,they take them to the side walls.All the best with it.CheersNick

Use WD40 to clean the glue left behind spray it on leave it for a while and rub it off.I use WD40 to clean glue of painted vinyl ,removes the the glue but dosn't damage the painted vinyl.Had a customer who spilled some contact glue on his seats it dried ,was on there for weeks,the WD40 removed it.I use WD40 to clean alot of things.CheersNick

Mate anger management classes ,once at wsid he hit the turps fark me the look in his eyes ,he smashed some official all hell broke loose,they banned him from the rest of that meeting.Not many things scare me but fark he is out of control and most of his competitors know that,they would try and rev him up any chance they got.Young bray would send people over with posters and t-shirts for stevens to sign them,and burn them in front of him.If you couldn't run fast you better have a elephant gun to stop him.

It all happened at the V8 supercars at oran park.Jack daniels had a marquee with some of his bikes on show ,not sure what happened if they flicked him or not, but he cracked it and KO'd one of the JD workers ,hopped onto his bike did donuts infront of the marquee and took off.Think they got him for drink driving aswell.Well the story is the guy he king hit was well established in JD and pulled the right strings to bring the relationship to an end.I think that was the case with the drag race season recently starting,the relationship ended over night.If you have a sponsor for 10 years plus ,you must have made some serious mistakes for it to end overnight.This is what I was told didn't see it myself.Cheers Nick

I collect ford memorabilla have a quite alot of things signed by the old school v8 drivers.My prized possession is a 1977 bathurst program signed by first and second placed drivers.The 1-2 finish(XC coupes) moffat and bond.Most of the ford merchandise isn't the best,been looking to buy a bathurst winning T-shirt 1-2-3 in a row ,think ford will have something by now.Most off there clothes are crap really need to step that side of things up.I think anywayCheers NIck.

Mines the same more when its cold and settle downs when it warms up.Its the cluster gear in the box,not the throw out bearing as it should be noiser with the clutch in,as that's when its under load.Cheers Nick

what do we really expect give a 17-18 year old kid a chance to drive 300kw plus cars,I did the some just couldn't wait to finish rebuilding the motor wack it in , so I could drive it.My boss back then took one out, it got a little sideways ,crossed over the other side of the road head on into on coming traffic.The customer wasn't to happy,we payed the full amount to repair it and the boss slipped him a couple of grand for the inconvenience.The ford dealer I get my car serviced at has banned some of the mechanics from driving customer cars,I just tell them no road test on my car,its written on the job card and signed.I record the k's and tell them I have.You have to remember most mechanics are rev heads and most drive faster cars than the average person.Cheers Nick
