I know 2 car collectors who bought the W427 they own phase 3 and collect cars,for you blokes to laugh at the suggestion show's what you know.I farkin hate holdens but most people in the game at the moment reckon they are going to be big.If this model is the last big block chev Expensive Daewoo made and around 100 odd made ,it has all the hall marks of a collectors car in the future in my eye's ,as for price who nows,If we all knew the future on what make is going to be collectable I'm sure most of us would run out and buy one.As we don't lets wait and see what comes of this. As for the esp mate let me say it again,the esp is an option on a fairmont ghia,if you put an esp next to a fairmont ghia the model number is the same.It's like getting an s pack falcon option.Unless you have the original sale documents ford has no record of an a original esp(European sports pack) option been there done that .Cheers Nick

ESP whats an esp,don't even have a special code on there tags.A esp and a fairmont ghia have the same code on there tags so hopefully ford has a record because no one else has.You can't buy anything for them a lemon stay away no one want's them better off with an replica xy.Cheers Nick

just a word of warning guys,I have a little to do with motor trimmers.If you are shopping around for price don't.There are so many different types of leather out there on the market,man made furniture leather and cheap sh*t.I have seen guys cars covered in leather and worn away within months.Ask what sort of leather they are using and how long it will last as a top quality cow hide can cost more than $300.00 a skin and you may need 6-10 cow hides to retim a car.Remember you get what you pay for.and if someone gives you a price thousands cheaper more then most likely the leather is of cheaper quailty.I recommend you ask them for a price on labour only and then ask for the different prices on skins.Cheers Nick

the phase 3 never really droped in price,it was the first limited edition car in australia and the fastest four door sedan in the world at that time.If any modern day car could be worth bid bucks in the future,my guess is the w427 commordore.Cheers Nick

my car had the timing cover leak thing shorten the bolts and its fixed.Well guys they only shorten the bolts around the leak.Mines was still leaking so they had to wait for head office (Ford) what do we do next.Pull out all the bolts and shorten and then pressure test oil system.Well it fixed it,so when a car comes in with that leak why don't they just shorten all the bolts and be done with it rather than muck around and play games.I think most dealers are working with there hands tied behind there backs and ford australia make the rules as they go.Cheers Nick

mines the same filling up at about the 52 litre range,one ford dealer told me some of the fuel sender units had bent arms and have been replaced and it fixed the problem others have told me they are all the same about 16 litres out.If they find out what the problems is let me know so I can tell them what to fix.Cheers Nick

mines out spoke to ford about it yesterday,they said they have had to replace a few of them now.It may be easier to stick an fish aquarium temp gauge on the window they work fine for years and are under $10.00
