Is that electrical tape wrapped around the fuel pump in the 3rd photo or is it your fuel filter?

just lowered mine about 2 inches and I needed a camber kit but it's different for every car(and they don't cost much). you shouldn't need to replace the struts, but mine is an F6 so it may be different to yours but the improvement in handling and ride is awesome.

I didn't think the oil cooking problem was as bad these days with the water cooled turbo's like the fords run?

is this cruise the ANZAC day weekend and if it is do we get the monday off? if so I am in, but if we dont have the monday off I will have to work on the sunday night so I wont be able to make it

no pics yet Hiro, will post some tommorow if its fine. car looks heaps tougher and handles and rides way better and actually grips up a lot nicer now. just have to put some road base in front of my carport so I dont scrape the nose on the way in.

1969 VW stationwagon with a stroked and bored engine to 2.2L, big cam and twin 45mm dellorto carbs off a ferrari. Has 265/45 R15's on the rear and when you nailed it from a standing start it would nearly get the front wheels off the ground!

What are you doing for easter? Do you pack everything up and go camping, stay at a flash hotel or just stay home and enjoy the long weekend? I have from thursday 9th till wednesday 15th off and will go up the beach to Double Island north of noosa for a few days and then spend a few days adding some new bits to the F6 and drinking...but not necessarily in that order.

Pardon my ignorance but can someone tell me the difference between these HID kits and those brighter white/blue bulbs that you can get from most autoparts shops?

I am only a few weeks behind you on mods, just gotta get a few pays in the bank to get the rest of my exhaust and intercooler. Got stickier rear tyres on her now and the suspension gets done on friday...yewwww!!

yeh wouldn't mind one on my FG ute, but $2900 for a hardlid through Ford is a bit hard to justify. Are there any other manufacturers doing lids for the FG?

oh and I got some new kumho tyres for the rear that were advertised on boostcruising website for hell cheap, 255/35 R19 KU31'S for $200 each

Hey everyone, was washing the ute on friday after coming back from O.S and it being in my parents garage and notice that the front lower lip on my bumper has a serious case of gravel rash from when my bro drove it while I was away. Its that bad the plastic looks like someone got it with a vegetable grater and the l/h sideskirt has scratches under it and on the side of it. Anyone know if it can be sanded and re-sprayed and can anyone recommend a good spraypainter here or in Briz. Fark I am totally shattered, my new car aint new anymore

mine does the same, pretty sure its just the rich mixture the computer runs when the car is warming up. I let mine sit and warm up till it reads at least a quarter on the temperature guage and don't get it anymore.

Nah I'm out, jetlag is catching up with me so I think I will just have a quiet night and save my fuel as I would get down there and start falling asleep on the trip home. Have fun guys!
