  2. only figures I can give is the Bogan special figures are 14.5l/100km and the F6 is 12.6l/100km stated by the respective factories, seeing I am still running mine in and don't drive like a toss around my neighbourhood I cant give any other comsumption figures
  3. yeh vixen I will be taking her out for a run tommorow, trying to put a couple more km's on her before the dump pipe, hiflo cat and custom flash tune next week.
  4. yeh mate kai is great, that's who organized my car for me FG270! Hey Vixen I have lived on the coast for years, I just keep a low profile mate. Just got back from a cruise up to noosa with my mates black VE Bogan special ute, what a bunch of scrots that own commodores up there, lol, loud dont mean fast!
  5. wish my stock 19" rims were wider on the back to fill the guards out on the ute a bit more
  6. Yeh mate I have a spare seat too, so if any of you have a good lookin sister or your girl has a friend that wants to come let me know (wink wink)

    doin the plugs

    From the album: my cars

  11. Pulled my stock plugs out today and compared them to the BKR6EIX plugs, exactly the same reach and thread. Also wouldn't the larger gap equate to a longer duration anyway as it would take a little longer jumping the 1.1mm gap compared to the .8mm gap?
  12. Hope ya have the new one in time FG270, dumbass sh**t drivers.
  13. Yeh, I am in. Will have my new dump pipe and custom tune by then so should be sweeeeet!
  14. Stainless steel withstands higher temperatures and is stronger whish is why they use it for exhaust manifolds, aluminium is a great heat dissipator which is why its used for intercoolers and heat sinks on amps and is lighter as well, so when its used to manufacture plenums it keeps the weight down and actually removes some of the heat from the air charge passing through it. theres no reason you couldnt use stainless but the work and time involved in machining/cutting the stainless for the mainifold section would be far greater.
  15. Woteva way you look at it you cant deny that skaife was a great driver, but even great drivers go past their use by date as was seen by the great champ brocky in his last bathurst drive. only my opinion but I dont think its that he has lost his edge as much as all the up and coming drivers are hungrier for wins and push themselves further than he does these days. cant really compare lowndes to brock at bathurst, look at the technology in the cars these days compared to when he was in his prime, bathurst should be lenghtened to 1500km race so it really tests car and driver like in the old days, as that's wot the race was all about, its just a walk in the park for the cars now.
  16. Anybody know any reason why these plugs wouldnt fit into my FG series? Surely they would be the same head as the BF? no listing for the FG yet :o
  17. mmm, probably not but I didn't want to buy something then have to spend the time and money tricking it up to get the brembo brakes and stereo, seats, bigger 19" rims etc. Was more thinking of resale as if I got the base model and spent all that money I wouldnt get it back wheras the fpv f6 should hold its value a little better(hopefully) plus I have 40+kw more already, with way more to come and way stronger internals in the engine. Dont know if the prices vary between states iether, RRP for the fpv F6 is $57990 + o.r.c in QLD
  18. Got my F6 fpv ute brand spankers for $59000 on road, drive away with 12 months rego with leather seats, top of the range stereo, floor mats and said if I didnt get it in the time frame I wanted NO DEAL! picked it up on the day I said I wanted it and I got a bonus Bowdens care care kit. Also got my paint protection for $300 and tint for $190, guess it's an ok deal
  19. Anyone out there know what plugs will fit into the FG F6 in the platinum style of NGK or something similar? looking at sending the car in for a C.A.P.A flash tuner with custom tune and dont really want to pay them $300 for something I can do myself. Also wot gap should I set in the new plugs? Can't find anything to fit teh FG on the NGK website so I am hoping someone may have some info for me
