  1. Hey Guys, I've just moved from Newy to Brisbane and I'm wondering who others use for servicing and maintaining their car. I've got a BF Turbo Ute. Secondly, who do you recommend for Flash Tuning up here? I'm in the Gabba area if that helps. Cheers!!
  2. What time are those in Newcastle leaving? Maybe we could trip it down together?
  3. G'day Chopp. I have a BF Turbo Ute and I am looking at a similar set up in Newcastle. Where did you edn up going and what are they charging?
  4. Have a look at Lucas pads. I used to work in the brake and clutch industry and we all ran Lucas pads. My boss had a VY Clubbie he used to take out on track days and he swore by them!
  5. Hey guys. I am currently running all standard gear underneath the ute, but I noticed that my mate with a BA turbo sedan seems to ride a lot better on the road. I've read through a few forums and Kings seem to be the way to go in the front, but with the leaf rear in the utes, what is my best option?

Newcastle, BF XR6T Ute Colour 'Ego'. 6 speed manual, leather seats and steering wheel, hard cover and chrome sports bars, Typhoon CIA K&N Air Filter. I put the aux audio input in thanks to the forums. I am currently in the market for a few upgrades. I'm looking at: 2.5" exhaust Larger Intercooler Flash Tuner Fuel Pump Injectors Buying 19" Charcoal BF GTP rims, PBR brake upgrade. I'll probably have to lower it a little too... Just to look good! :-)
  7. King St. Hahah Sunday arvos at the Brewery....
  8. G'day Muzza. I have a BF XR6T ute getting around town. I live in the middle of town so I guess I qualify!
  9. Yeah mate, I've just done the secondary intake as well and I've spoken to a few guys now that recommend putting all the bits on the car before you do the custom tune to save on money and effort. I'm looking at doing full 2.5" exhaust right through, upgrading the injectors, intercooler and fuel pump. With the flash tuner, the parts are around $3k, so you could probably add a little more onto that for labour and other bits and pieces.
  10. hahaha... Well I guess it's decided then! I'll start looking around! If you know anyone selling one let me know
  11. Cheers guys, Great feedback. I was leaning towards the Typhoon intake and Flash tuner, it's great to get a little reassurance. I notice hardly anybody on any of these forums talks about SS inductions or any other intakes. Not worth their money?
  12. Hey guys, Just joined the website. To give you an insight, I bought my ute a few months back, it is still standard except for a K&N Air Filter I put in soon after purchase. Firstly, I have noticed in first gear off the line it is very sluggish until the revs reach about 1500-2000rpm. I have tried raising the revs before I take off but it seems to bog down, even if I try to slip the clutch a little. I'm hoping it's not just me driving like a girl... I have been told that an increased airflow (such as a cold air intake) could help fix this problem, but I am not sure where to start. I do want to do a few mods, but certainly don't want to blow the doors off it (just yet). Can anyone give me any guidance regarding cold air intakes and other minor modifications like that that might increase the performance. I don't have any particular budget, but I want to spend within reason. With so many different options around, I am curious to know what the forum thinks. Cheers - Shaun
