Hey guys, just driving the other night all dash and console lights on. Then nothing. Checked all fuses and relays, all good. Have no power to fog lights either. Thinking mabe a bad connection or some blown globes but haven't pulled dash apart yet.

Very Rough Idle After Surge Tank Install

Hey guys, I just installed rapid systems 4.5 kit and a plazmaman surge tank in my ba series 1 but now have engine light on and throttle not responding. I did also have battery out for a while before I put the new one in and thought mabe the custom tune I had in the car already my have been removed?? -
dont bother with cams mate, unless your chasing huge power, the stock cams are pretty much bulletproof, definately get springs done though. check out the other threads on this topic.

unfortunatly you cant just go and bang a turbo on the side of a naturally aspirated engine. pistons are different and would need to be changed for correct compression. Also not to mention a fair bit of other gear. Sorry but im with the other guys. save your coins for a real xr6 T

Yeah I'm toying with the idea of a plenum and rapid cooler and cold piping but there's sumthing still not right about those numbers. Might take it to Mick

Hey guys just got car back from tuner (hpf), 262 rwkw at 14 psi. Rebuilt 4 speed trans with shift kit 4" dump, high flow cat 3.5" back Pwr intercooler Pwr heavy duty trans cooler Turbo ported and 12psi actuator Deka 60lb injectors Crow valve springs Rapid systems 2.5" hot ic piping Larger under battery pipe Walbro fuel pump Pod filter and cai Xcal3 tune Was expecting a bit closer to 300rwkw.... What else can I do besides bigger cooler and intake plenum???

Thanks for the info guys, im getting the car tuned at horse power factory in dandenong, I just found out they do all the automatic rebiulds as well!!Gonna get them to do the lot! Cheers.

Yeah thought so, I'm well aware of what can happen to these autos with that kind of power that's why I havnt got it tuned yet. Can anyone recommend a good trans builder in melb?? Iv herd that bayswater autos know what they're doing..

Hey guys, done a fair bit of work on my 04 ba turbo. Probably looking at about 330 - 350 rwkw once I get the tune done but was thinkin of getting the trans rebuilt eg. Shift kit, and converter but not sure which one first?? Trans or tune??

Just put in the PWR heavy duty trans cooler, got it to fit behind the PWR Intercooler...just, actually wasnt that painful to install.

Just did this mod, pretty happy with it, better for the engine than blocking it off completely!!

yeah I got the same 20 by 8.5, how far off the ground is yours with sssl's?? What do u think about king springs with bilstein or Koni??

Hey guys, Just put 20 inch wheels on my 6T looks great and not much difference in the ride but was thinking of possibly going with king springs super lows 40-50mm lower and some bilstein shocks to suite but not sure about clearance issues for the fronts?? Anyone got any bright ideas?? Thanks, Phil
