Hi I wanted to do the same ,I rang ford ,they want 365.00,as you have to buy the complete excel pedal,with excel control module and the brake pedal comes in a pedal tread kit.Pretty expensive cheers

Hi I put the dust covers on the front ,no problems 8 dollars each from ford.my problem with rust is fixed after I put the dust covers on the front cheers

Hi All just had my Feb 09 built g6ET in for the third time to fix oil leak,first time it was sump plug,next time,timing cover bolts,still leaking ,went in last Thurs,picked it up today and was told they put a brand new sump on it as the old one was porous.now to do this they have to drop front suspension,anyway picked up car today was told all OK,but as I was driving home I noticed play in the steering wheel which wasn't there prior to me giving them the car,so I took it back in ,they put it on the hoist ,was informed some part in the steering column with a spline on it, needs replacing ,was not happy and they couldn't explain why it happened ,car has only 1800 ks on it.Has anyone else had similar problems?cheers

Hi All picked up my black g6e t last week,anyway when I got home noticed rust spots on factory 19 inch rims,wiped it clean ,put it down to a one off thing. Today I washed it and noticed the holes in between the wheel nuts there was rust,I put it down to rust forming on the disks then getting into the holes,checked the rears and no sign of this problem at all. Itook the car to ford dealer and we discovered that on the back wheels there is a black dust plate or a plate to stop this happening,but none on the front .There was no other g6et in the yard and they didnt no if the fronts should have them or not.So they are going to find out and get back to me,.Ihave a funny feeling they forgot to put these on the car during manufacturing. Can anyone on here with 19 inch wheels check if you have this plate on front and rear and let me know please. Thank you cheers

Hi All I picked up car friday, fantastic car that's for sure,not very happy with delivery though,got some minor scratches that should buff out and minor defect in paint on front bumper at the side ,chip out of rocker cover,Car going in next week to have these fixed ,car interior ok,but as far as car is concerned as a package, couldnt be happier.Car going in monday for window tint,so will post pics when finished. As far as fuel flap is concerned ,mine is 09 feb built,no locking cap,even dealer coulnt believe it didnt lock,because he was informed all 09 models would be done.He is supposed to be looking in to it..............we will see............ cheers
