Hey Henry, I hate squeeling brakes more than anything, I do about 1500-1700Km a week as well and I no how bad it feels to have to pull up next to a h**den at the lights and have noisy brakes. SO, To stop the squeel you have to take care of the back of the pad that touches the pistons, not the face of the pad that contacts the rotors. Take your pads out and wipe over the back with brake clean spray, then apply to the back of the pad an anti squeel compound (spray or paste), I prefer the thick red paste. It is very sticky almost like contact cement, cote the back of the pad and let it dry for an hour, pop them back in and no more squeeling brakes. good luck, Mark.
