  1. Try Gasbag App- it lets you know where every single petrol station in your (GPS) area is and also shows it by brand e.g. BP SHELL CALTEX ect. I give it a big two thumbs up. How about you?
  2. Keaton, give Me a call in the AM should be able to hook you up with full time job. PMd ya Cheers, Mark.
  3. I'll see how things go, but may have the situation under control. Thanks for nominating Jamie, I appreciate you organising a back up for me. Cheers.
  4. Anyone there, out of work and looking for the best job ever. I'm looking for a designated Driver ( full License )to drive my 400 hp XRt around Brisbane 8 till 5pm a couple of days a week. North side Preferred. PM for details.
  5. If you don't pay the toll, I think it's like a $5,000,000 Dollar fine, they impound and De-register your car, put you in an orange suit and you have to pick up papers on the side of the road for a year or something. So see the Go Via (Qld Motorways) Website and pay toll online. Cheers :gunsfiring:
  6. Then you could throw on another $20 Bucks and buy another set off ebay and sell those for a Hundred as well, Profit all the way. :gunsfiring:
  7. I have heard that f6 owners have had trouble with getting original bumpers once they hit the panel shops, look under your rear bar and make sure they have used the original plastic bumpers and not a fiberglass replacement. I hope that gives you a starting point. Cheers. :gunsfiring:
  8. What, No Valley? Well done Trent, Great route.
  9. I went to a local city Brisbane dealer for warranty work (flex plate) and was questioned if I had flash tune, I denied this so they had equipment sent up from Melbourne to see if the factory tune had been modified, when this was confirmed, Ford snatched the warranty on the whole Engine and Drive train components. Oh, and they kept my car for 5 days.
  10. Hey Tab, Count me In, I'll be there Friday night no worries.
  11. From memory Triple j started about 1979 and I think most radio stations were AM. I think 3XY Melbourne changed to Fox FM and then triple MMM was the next FM station. But then again I remember some youths were granted a temporary FM broadcast licence for 12 months and when it was due to expire the underground supporters protested and the government caved, I think this may have been the start of Triple j. Can anyone confirm this.
  12. Probably a bad choice, seems its my daily driver and I use it for work (Sales). Keep in mind it's off boost for more than 60% of the day, so there are stages where I get do fuel economy but that is at the cost of exhilaration. Mmm, 4 tanks a week; maybe I should flash the soft tune.............Nahh!!!!
  13. Smoke on the water is always number one. so whats the use.
  14. Hey Dazza, I started mods on my 07/07 BF ZF after 1500 km. if I could have it again, I would just do CAI and panel filter,Injectors and a massive tune; and that would be it, I wouldn't do any thing else at all. Except maybe upgrade the brakes, but that would be it. Oh, I'd probably do the fuel pump as well, but no more. Exhaust, maybe just the exhaust. And; the wheels, I,d change the wheels to I think. and then get it crawling on it's belly with some SSL's. BUT that's IT! Unless. Unless I upgraded the Intercooler, Mmm, I,d probably do that too! HELP!!! What the hell is it with these beasts. But I will say the Fuel economy is quiet good at 48 liters per/ 100 KM. Cheers. (Excuse me, do you know where they sell 98 RON, in this area.)
  15. Definetly go with sl king springs, I went with Lovells this time because the released a purpose built spring for BF mk 2 front ( the top coil is diferent to early BFs). I went with ssl front and rear but it is to low now that it has settled in (about 65mm lower), speed humps are a no-no and I pick and choose drive ways; oh, and the front bumper scraps on straight flat roads when at speed.
  16. I remember seeing made in New Zealand on my FPV plastics while I was fitting them, maybe try the manufacturer if you can track them down. If not, FPV were sent to NZ so call some dealers there and see if they have stock, so what if there is freight, Insurance is paying right. Your beef should be with the insurance company; they are the ones that guarantee 7 day fix or hire car, If they were paying for that, they would search the planet for your new bumper.
  17. Well Done Mate, and I was Freaking because I'm going to pull my instrument panel cluster out. Cheers
  18. 07/07 BF2, at the time was standard with K&N panel filter and flash tune from RDP redcliffe. ZF auto 4th gear.
  19. I noticed with my car that when I was reaching max revs it felt like the tail shaft was out of balance and would not rev out. Over 2 weeks it got worse and at idle was very rattly and had to build revs slightly to stop the noise. At Willowbank dragsI sealed its fate and turned out to be loose flex plate bolts (mine is auto) but I thought it was just a blown cat. Four loose bolts on the crank/ flex plate riped the fly wheel to shreds. If yours is auto, that would be my guess. $75 flex plate + 4hours labour, but sounds like you may have got it before any damage; so,lock tight may be all you need.
  20. On the street I run federal SS595 very economical at under $200 mark Ran with them at willowbank with very good grip as well. Up to track work with the federal 595RS-r for under $300 Also tyre of choice for Targa Tasmainia.
