Pretty sure they can do the EPA (style) test on almost any Dyno and then tune it to pass the required levels.

Mate don't sweat it, we have in Brisbane at the moment the OVERT Project- ( On-road Vehicle Emissions Random Testing, Project) and got pulled up the other day and cruised it in as follows: carbon monoxide (CO)% Volume= Good is under 1 My test = 0.15 Hydrocarbon (HC) ppm = Good is under 150 My test = 38 To say I was worried about the HC test was an under statement as I was running octane boost with the fuel, but as the test shows, was well under.

Just in case you were not aware, the flash is locked to each individual vehicle, inside the drivers side door jamb is the ecu code and vin number, which is used to lock the flash. It can be unlocked at a cost. Generic tunes, Mmmm, well best to get your car custom tuned to your own mods; and that way your tuner can set the car up to the best way that is going to suit your needs, but if your exhaust has been done, you may want to consider an aftermarket panel filter (such as K&N) as well. Put it on the dyno, that's the best way. Cheers.

Mate, get it roadworthy, pay the rego and drive it around as it is (Ridgy-Didge). Nothing better than seeing an old original classic XA-XB still driving on the roads, so what if the paint is not up to scratch. An unrestored, unmolested car will mostly always out value a fully restored car. Great opportunity, don't pass it up or you will Kick your self in years to come.
