congrats on the buy its always good to see one of these in another country. like rancid said it wont be hard to get parts if you stick to this forum theres always people that will help out on here with any issues you have too.

they didn't know what the problem was, they flushed the system out both times too. guess it was just faulty. the first one that went was just after I didnt a little hard lock action but the 2nd time f*cks me. it was driven for about 3 days worth then it went. I honestly think they did NOT replace the pump after the first one becuase wtf is with that sh*t? says on 'paper' they did though. beano, I dont think blocks cost that much last time I got a set for my valiant they were $75 a couple years ago and its a pretty straight forward DIY. have a go if you think your keen I wouldnt pay $350 though FARKK THAT

tailshaft seems alright.. *touch wood* im more worried about the p/s pump already had 2 in 2 weeks LOL, and yer its late 08 build yeah RAP1d not really on the cards at the moment rather get some more power first ive gotten used to the 17's sad to admit it. on the plus side 17" semi's are pretty cheap so im happy

this hapened to me about 3 times so far, read the manual it says contact a ford dealer straight away. I was in the area so I just went into one and they didn't know anything about it and said when it happens again bring it in so they can see it. but like old mate said turn it off then on again and problem solved.

has anyone attempted installing one of these for the diff? im pretty curious about iif its just overkill but im sure it won't hurt it, its gotta be better than nothing at all right? I wouldn't mind having a crack at it for something to do, I know ill need a cooler, pump and some hoses but how hard is it to tap into the rear diff cover. or would I be better talking to Mal Wood about something like this.

I just did mine and this was very helpfull. didn't know it was so easy and I didnt even have to jack it up on axle stands, im pretty skinny so I slipped under the back and the utes lowered too. ive only done 22000kms and it was looking pretty bad when I dropped it smelled horrible too. anyway just heads up for FG owners looking to do this as the fill blot is different to the ba/bf and you need a 10mm hex bit or allen key. other than that it seemed all the same. it took about 1.9L till is started seeping out.

looks like some decent improvments there. I can't compare it since never owning a ba or bf and only tested a bf turbo ute.

does nizpro make an exhaust for the FG utes? probly the only one id upgrade the stock system for.

nothing worse than a kitted v6 Late model camira with chev badges. was down the coast last night when one pulled up at the lights with one headlight and horrible colour coding revving the guts out like he wanted to race...
