  4. I Obviously can't tell you why the change in tuner but I can tell you that when I got the car after bayswater autos did what ever they did to the auto it was doing weird things at 2-3 shift.I called Bayswater auto's about the issue & was told that they wanted Danny from Headsex to tune the auto & that san should have taken the car to him.As this was Sans choice to take the car where San wanted to take it I ended up with it.So with Bayswater autos not knowing how I set up auto's & Knowing how Danny From Headsex does And recommended him I thought I would call on Danny to get his thoughts & he could then refer onto Bayswater autos with them communicating on a established level Sans auto would be delt with at the best level. As it turned out Danny & I both Thought it was a mechanichal issue That was Pre Baywswater auto's days & it turned out we were right & Bayswater auto's fixed the issue which happend to be as simple as an S5 solinoide failure & some odd valve body mods which were done Pre bayswater auto's days.I then got the car back & did my own full tune keeping in mind what danny had told me that bayswater auto's like there auto's to be set up like.So not much to it really just some good old fashion communication..... Danny (springy motors)
  5. I think you may come into trouble trying to crack a genuine 400KW on a stock bottom end,the way I see it is to make that sort of power you will have to run pre mentioned parts at the least & then you will need to run fair sort of boost & ignition to get that sort of power.BUT to be able to run 18-20 Psi & some fair ignition curve you would have to run some sort of exotic fuel & still worry about breaking a ringland or bend/throw a rod.If any sort of reilability is to be had I can't see any other way but to Build A bttom end (dropping comp, good rods & pistons Ect.Hate to crush your hopes but been there before.Better to do it right once than do it twice.Cheers DJP.
  6. The general rule in gapping plugs is the more boost you plan to run the lower you should gap them,on 10psi .85-.9 should be fine.It sounds like to me when you loaded the 10 psi tune you may of been having a bit of a boost leak from the extra boost & once it had made a boost leak from a clamp or something you might find it is still leaking when you go back to the factory tune, may pay to check all the hose clamps ( especially those springloaded type ones) on the pipe that runs under the battery tray & the intercooler ends. Still Go The Custom however it turns out.Good Luck Anyway.
  7. Hey just thought I'd say the c9 can be made quite steetable and are a bit old school yes but if built right are just awsome at wot & also if the conversion is done by the right people it can be made to look very complimentry when the B&M shifter is fitted nice Eg. With the genuine shifter cover & matching leather boot. Also with the full manuel valve body you vertually have your tiptronic action feel about it.Also This conversion can be done right for around 7 grand.By the time you rebuild 2 4 speeds ( which is not uncommon ) your vertually there. But I will say fuel economy will change & vary depending on convertor size ect.Hope this helps on your decision making.

    Flash Tuner

Hi Just read your post & noticed you have tried the odvious & first things, I think the best thing you could do now is have someone that has access to the logging software & look for some sort of torque redution issue going on or at least logging torque sorce & some other key parameters I think it wouldnt take long to see exactly whats going on.Cheers & good luck & let us no how you get on. 9. Yes I am danny from springy & there were some things about the generic flash he wasn't happy with & I am just trying to keep away from generic tunes if any sort of quality control is to be had.But as long as when a generic tune is used this is realised, I am happy to pass them on.Having said all that I would proberly not of been happy with what gain/loss he got aswell, but that was not my place to interfear. All that aside thanks for the reply.
  10. Thanks for taking the time to make me feel welcomed:DJP
  11. All Springy Motors done in that case was to supplly the box,all other hassells you had should have been dealt with by CAPA being a "generic tune" and I'm Also sure selling you a custom tune was to actually avoid those hassells you had.Anyhow hope all is going well now.
