  4. Hi Guys Just a heads up that today from 11:30 - 2:30 Speedweek is doing a special on the Bathurst 12 hour on SBS ONE! Cheers, Josh
  5. Hi Guys - ill also add 2 cents. When getting a car allowance, you can get it taxed by your employer or complete a form called PAYG withholding variation short application 2013 Allowance or HELP / Financial supplement from the ATO. If this is approved, you then receive your allowance tax free. If you get it tax free, make sure you spend all your allowance or you can find yourself owing the tax man money. Eg: Car allowance - $15000 pa Repayments - $1000 per month = $12000 pa Fuel - $100 per week = $5200 pa Insurance and Rego - $150 per month = $1800 pa Service and Repairs - $2000 pa Total cost = $21,000 If you then work out your % for Business use say 90%. Total spend of $21000 @ 90% = $18,900. Therefore, $15000 car allowance is justified as you have spent $18,900 for business purposes. In this case, you get the car allowance tax free and will get some additional money back.
  6. Hi Guys After many years away, it's time to return. I got a price on Sunday 26th of Jan as follows. Based on White Auto XR6 Turbo - $38k drive away XR6 Turbo (Luxury Pack) $42,500 Both 2013 build, but not in stock so I could not get the 2.9% finance. What's this pricing like? What should I be aiming for? Thanks, Josh
  7. Happy Birthday simmo77!

  8. Thanks everyone, I appreciate your thoughts! How's everyone finding fuel consumption on average?
  9. Hi Everyone I have been thinking for some time about moving into the Turbo camp. I had the same problem as everyone else and just cannot decide between the manual and the auto. I decided to finally drive the auto, but all the dealer had was the Territory Turbo! What a great car. Now I'm totally stuffed, XR6T Manual / Auto or Territory. I love the idea of the Territory, but whilst looking for information on the forum, there are not many regular updates on the TT and I was wondering what people thought of them! What's everyone's thoughts?? Cheers Josh
  10. Joe, Good luck mate! I spend alot of time on the road between the Hills area, North Shore and City. Will keep an eye out!

    Tyres

Which of these tyres did you find the best as far as traction was concerned? Geea. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was running 17's at the time. I thought the SO2 were the better of the 2, so I assume the SO3 is even better.
  12. Hi Guys Looking at buying a T! Unfornuately, the Germans don't always get it right either. 2 years warrenty and massive servicing costs. IMHO, I don't think the Germans are as good as they once were.

    Tyres

I've used SO'2 and Michelin Pilot Sports on my BMW. I know, not as heavy as a T but they work great. I got 35K out of them, but didn't have the Kw's to play with that you have! Good Luck!
  14. HRHappy, If my memory serves me correct, they also mentioned that the outcome may have been different, If the XR6T had a better gear box at the time...... That being said, the BA II could have taken the title!
