Hey WA XR6 Turbo Owners, I read about your cruise down to Mandurah on Sunday, May 8th 2005. Its good to see that WA XR6T fans are catching up and sizing up to the HSV fans. Unfortunately, I won't be able to join you as I'm based in Albany. But in future please consider a cruise down to Albany. If your interested I am keen to help organise the cruise and perhaps a burn-out comp at the local motorplex. Cheers for the advice turbocorty. I wonder if Ford would distribute the premium deck individually and at what price. Or at least advise who manufactures the deck so I can contact them direct. Does anyone know who manufacturers the Ford Audio Equipment?

Hey Folks, My XR6 Turbo Ute was built with standard audio as I didn't consider premium sound value for money in a Ute as the package doesn't include subwoofers due to space limitations. However, since purchasing my ute I have discovering the Blaupunkt interface that installs a DVD and Navigation System. Unfortunatley though the Blaupunkt system requires premium sound. Do you think it could be possible to only upgrade to premium deck?

Bring on the FPV Typhoon Ute How sweet is a turbo powered sport ute, its a practical sports car! Not to be mention the tax benefits and fleet discounts for business purchasers.

The Typhoon F6 Concept proves that the future of Australias performance vehicle market lies with 6 cyclinder turbo engines. This is already the case in Japan with Supras and Skylines and even Europe with Porsches. What Australian manufacturers, and in particular Ford are discovering, is what the rest of world new 10 years ago. Which is that there is greater potential to generate kw and torque out of a turbo driven 6 cyclinder engine then there is out of 8. Plus the added better fuel efficiency and power to weight. So yeah maybe this does signal the beginning of the end for XR8s' Although with Australian motor vehicle enthusiasts being what they are there will always be a market for the peformance V8!!!

Scotty, What about the Donker Ford Badge on the Grill is this removed on your Falcon?

Hey Folks, Has everyone seen FPVs' new concept vehicle 'The Typhoon F6' soon to be released at the Melbourne Auto Show. The F6 concept runs the XR6 Turbo Engine in smaller, slicker body shape. Its looks to take its origins from the late model Mustang. I'm looking forward to this New Era of FPV When its released will our Club embrace its owners? Does anyone have further information pics, specs etc? What do your rate the Typhoon F6 concept out of ten? Let me know. Cheers, Davyd

Hey Guys, Has anyone attempted removing their Ford and Falcon badges? If so how did you loosen the adhesive, what tool did you use and did you cause any damage? If you have any helpful advice PM me and let me know. Plus has anyone seen a de-badged XR6 Turbo? Catchya Davyd

Hey Folks, I've just purchased a SplitFire Boost Gauge for my XR6 Turbo Ute. So this message goes out ot anyone who has already fitted a boost gauge on an XR6 Turbo. I'm chasing details, pictures or advice on the easiest method of installation? Cheers, Davyd Hooper
