I know there are 100000 threads on gauges and pods, but after a couple of hours reading I still can't get myself some definite answers! I just got a full F6 gauge setup - pod, boost/pressure gauges, wiring loom, and senders for a decent price: Plenty of people recommend getting some aftermarket gauges put in, however for now I would like to rock the "OEM" look of the FPV gauges and change gauges down the track if I am not happy. A few questions around this and install to my BFII XR6T: 1. A few posts mention that the setup I have bought won't go straight in to an xr6t as the F6 has boost sender spot on the intercooler? Confirm/deny? Anywhere else? 2. Is there a full **genuine** FPV pod/gauge install guide - plenty of aftermarket and mod guides, but none with the factory loom, gauges, etc that I can find (detailed enough for a newbie like me)? 3. Am I missing any parts - e.g. T-piece for oil pressure? 3. Is this install job a real hassle, and should I get someone pro to do it? (If I have to ask all these questions, maybe I should, lol) 4. Can people recommend shops in Melbourne that are reliable and reasonably priced to install the whole lot? Sorry for any repeats/rehashes here, but after lots of searching, I think it may be easier to get all the answers in one hit if I can!!! Cheers guys!

Yep, trying to get some DBA42107S and DBA4505S at the moment - no stock!! DBA are apparently running some through the factory now...?

I got this done on Friday. Makes a hell of a difference to the sound of the car. It certainly sounds tougher and louder, and I have not picked up much (if any) drone - yet to hit the freeway. Overrun/downshift has a fair amount of crackle and burble - I am not sure if I like too much of it though. All in all, not bad for a $150 mod until I get a full exhaust!

Did everyone install their pod/gauges themselves? Or get a workshop to do it - if so, how much did it cost you? I don't think I have quite the capacity to do it all myself...

Been trying to source the genuine pod, gauges, wiring/senders for while a while now also. V.frustrating! I assume the one you saw on ebay yesterday is already gone... bummer.

Also, this is what Ford sent me instead of the part I was looking for. Anyone know what make/model/year this is for? I'm assuming a V8 or NA V6? Hose part#: BAF 6C342C Valve part#: AUC 6A666A

Hi Guys, Hoping someone can help with a part name & number for a broken collar on my 07 MkII T. I tried ordering from Ford by advising them is was the PCV hose collar, however they have sent me a PCV host/valve for another model. The screw in collar has snapped off at the collar on the crossover pipe/crankcase as per pic below: Hopefully someone can give me a part number or a better description for the Ford parts department!

After 6 months searching, I finally got my T! Manual, premium sound, BT/mp3, towpack. I love watching the fuel level drop before my eyes with the boot in! Heck yes. Now, what mods do I need... Crappy smudged mobile pic alert!

Out of curiosity, what are the two extra buttons in the luxury pack either side of dome light and central locking? Trip computer and Traction Control? Are these buttons elsewhere on standard interior?

Car description does say "Premium" but obviously that could be wrong depending on how cluey the dealer is... So I am going with Premium audio, including sub and 6 stacker, but not the luxury with dual climate... Thanks guys!

so upgraded screen and cd stacker, but won't have the 6 speakers and sub?

I have seen numerous BF's listed as having Premium Sound, however I noticed that the ICC is slightly different in many cases. One has a centre stereo control button, while the other has one either side of the selection buttons. The screen also look slightly different. Also 4 x utility buttons (lights, locks) rather than 2 x Can someone please tell me the difference? Are the screens different quality? Is this just dual climate control changes? Thanks.

The prices seem to vary state to state and having troubles nailing down a reasonable price. 06 BF MkI, manual, luxury pack (climate, leather, etc), momo wheel, prem sound, rev sensors, towpack 30,000Kms, no rego, 1 year fac warranty remaining Thoughts?

Where are you finding these? I am looking at a BF Mk I at the moment. They want $29k for it! That said, it only has 30,000 Km and extras.

Sometime lurker and now new poster! Looking for a 6sp BA MkII right now in Victoria. Hopefully going to see a couple this weekend although they are a ways away from me. But I think it may be worth it for this car! Great forums guys!

In the same boat and looking for a BA MkII right now. Time for my '87 Skyline Silo to have a rest! I would buy tomorrow if I could find what I want! Unfortunately I am not finding a heap of 6sp manuals in Victoria at the moment which is a little frustrating, but patience will get me a car I am totally happy with!! (P.S. any other quality suggestions besides your usual drive and carsales sites?) Best of luck Benji!
