  1. 343 rwkw. Also went 11.74@ 122mph same night.
  2. 18/12/2015 Calder Park 245 wide, 19 inch Pirelli Cinturato p1 street tyres. 11.68 @ 121 mph 1.995 60 ft 4 speed BTR, manual shifting
  3. Do the ZF gearboxes have shift solenoids. One could be noisy. I get the same on 1st to 2nd only and has no adverse affects but mine is a btr 4 speed.
  4. PW stage 2 requires only a small 25mm corner cut to the rad support and is a great cooler. If you are concerned about that buy a replacement rad support from a wrecker. No other cutting is required. I fitted it to my BA a few weeks ago. Fitment is also top notch with PW after havinv installed it myself.
  5. An hours labour should cover it by a mechanic although it shouldnt take more than an hour. You dont want to rush and kink the pipe that's on the engine block end when removing as you may want to put it back if you ever sell the car.
  6. Mines just ticked over 250,000, tuned since 110,000
  7. lol yes but I was thinking of the options when using 'a' type of filter. Yes there is this 3rd option too
  8. I think the problem is with service intervals. I change my oil and do an oil flush every 6,000 odd kms and never the ford recommended 10,000+. My car did over 240,000 with the factory filter before I changed it to a new factory replacement filter only because of new tune witb more boost was being done and I found this to be cheap insurance. My car had been previously tuned for several years prior to that. Theres two schools of though 1) to change to an after market filter and 2) to replace with a factory filter...both have merits......do whatever makes you sleep well at night
  9. You'll be in good hands at Dynomite. Prices are reasonable and work is top notch.
  10. The MPH was picked up by manually shifting the auto rather than leaving it in sports performance mode. Manual shift ensures that it stays in 3rd gear as you cross the line meaning its using peak power/torque whereas in performance auto it was shifting to 4th before the finish line which slows down the time and kills the 4 speed auto box.
  11. 13/6/2014 calder park. 12.33 @116.65 mph 2.086 60ft Exact same set up as when raced on 30 May.
  12. 12.30@112.5 mph 60 ft 1.910 2003 BA XR6T 301 rwkw Pirelli Cinturato 245/40/18 street tyres Calder Park 30/5/2014
  13. Autospeed has a good interview with one of the ford blokes behind the xr6t. Its called 'xr6 turbo according to ford' or something along those lines......their conclusion was that a butterfly manifold was useless for the turbo application.
  14. Just a few weeks ago I did mine for the first time @ 241,000 kms before it went for its latest newest tune. It was reasonably clean and I could not visibly see any blockages with a light shone through it. It could have gone back in with a good clean but I bought a new factoey filter and fitted cos its good insurance. I think it comes down to good routine of oil/filter changes. I have had my car almost since new and I change the oil/filter every 6,000 kms without exceptions. My car has been tuned for about 6 years so far No fancy oil just valvoline engine armour 15/40 Good service routine goes a long way
