Damm right they should be giving you an FG, you didn't buy a BA! I feel for you, especially since you've only had it for such a short time! My car has been to the dealer on a number of occasions to fix an oil leak, which it has had since new. I actually picked it up today - it took them 3 days to replace the sump seal, which was leaking - hopefully that's the last of it.

My G6ET, which was build in late Aug 08 has been to the Ford dealer on a number of occasions for a similar leak, which to date has not been fixed, so I'll be calling Ford regarding this possible cause - thanks for the info! Trough Lolly, fyi, mine leaks down the passenger side!

There seems to be some ambiguity regarding this topic, so I decided to call the Dealership, who advised me to call Ford Customer Relations. The official word is that Ford is working on a compatibility update for the iPhone 3G. dashturbo, I'm interested in the outcome of your update as I've also had my car's software updated recently to correct the issues I had with the Bluetooth connectivity and my iPhone but this software update didn't solve the integration issues I'm experiencing via the iPod cable.

Got a Nokia 6120 and iPhone 3G – both pair with the G6E Turbo post software update. In relation to the caller name, first screen shot on page 153 of the manual does allude to this feature but I haven’t been able to work out how to display it?

Hey guys, just entered the Ford turbo world with the recent purchase of a G6E Turbo. Unfortunately my iPhone 3G is not compatible with car. Does the software update also provide compatibility to this model?
