If you saw how much was dropped in price in a short period of time, it makes sense that the guy is moving, as well as moving to a country town 40 minutes from my own. His missus BA XR6 that was there had the same wear marks in the plastic from where the seatbelt rubs. I will have a look at mates BA/BF's to confirm, but it appears to be a common design flaw. Pedals, steering wheel, bolsters, gearknob etc are excellent condition/consistent for the km's. He had the transfer from when he bought it from NSW, 3 years ago, 20,000kms less, and given he has two other cars, and lives in inner eastern melb subs, I see no reason why he would have swapped the dash to save what; 10,000 or 15000kms? I used to be a roadworthy mechanic, so am not worried at all about service history, given the condition of the car. There are many more factors that determine the value of a second hand car.
