If you dont mind mate how much did the Brembo's set you back ? And also side skirts bonnet and rear skirt? Cheers Brad

Did you sign any paper work or agreement? If not then going by ACCC regs you can get your money back tell them to far kew and go elsewhere. I and a couple of my friends have had shocking experiences with HN. One mate of mine was looking at getting a new LCD TV, they went to one HN store and was told no store in the state had any and that they were on the boat being shipped over. After a day and a half they had their TV - which on the side of the box written in texta was the name of the store it came from. I work in retail myself as a manager so have had to familiarise myself with a couple of ACCC laws so my advice (apart from avoiding HN at any cost) is to have a look and then go back. If you havent signed anything or even if you have there is always a cooling off period. The fact you havent even recieved the camera for a start should help you get out of it, ask to see any fine print regarding the deal you have been given and if need speak to a manager, explain the situation as calm as you can. I know if someone comes to me and has a genuine concern or issue im more inclined to do what I can if they talk to me like a person instead of a piece of crap.

It's interesting how people have different reactions to the same bit of vision. I saw freddy 1 over 20 years ago when I was about 8 and had nightmares for months after. Movies like 'The Ring' bored me to tears, 13 Ghosts both blew and sucked, the Saw Movies, while very graphic just made me laugh (especially in saw 1 when he rips the top of the toilet cistern off and starts belting the other guy with it lol I was the only one in the cinema to laugh) and made me think what the hell kind of person thought this sh#t up !! The one that does get me is exorcist, man she just had a look that made my skin crawl and the hairs on my neck stand up straight, added with the voice and the movements her head and her eyes made just freaked me out lol. Dont know why maybe it's because there have been reports of real exorcism's and you relate the movie to that not sure

Ok I have flicked through the melways and found what looks to be a decent route. It's broken up into 2 parts with the option of finishing in Lilydale and heading home or going back around the other way to Upper Ferntree Gully. If I get a chance I'll do a run maybe later today even and let you know. 1. Squirt down Eastlink from Ringwood (not sure which exit to turn around or whether to go to Frankston turn off then turn around) then back down turn right at Burwood Hwy - nice way to warm the car up ! 2. Follow Burwood Hwy all the way down to Upper Ferntree Gully turn left onto Mt. Dandenong Tourist Rd (mel 74 H5) 3. Right at Sherbrooke Rd (mel 75 D1) 4. Follow around turn left at roundabout onto Monbulk Rd (mel 75 K3) 5. Follow around through Kalista, Olinda & Monbulk 6. Through main St then left at Roundabout (mel 122 G12) 7. Continue along Monbulk Rd past Silvan Reservoir (mel 123) 8. Along Monbulk Rd (silvan rd) through Silvan & Mt Evelyn turn right Clegg Rd (mel 120 D1) 9. Follow down through Wandin North & left at roundabout onto Warburton Hwy (mel 119 C11) 10. Down towards Lilydale merge onto Maroondah Hwy Lilydale (mel 38 K2) Stop here go home...OR...re-group and head back out. 11. from Maroondah Hwy turn right down Anderson St and right at the roundabout onto Swansea Rd with Lilydale Lake on right hand side 12. Follow Swansea Rd down through Montrose turn left at the roundabout back onto Mt. Dandenong Tourist rd (mel 52 C7) Back through Kalorama & Mt Dandenong towards Olinda 13. Through to Sassafrass & turn left at The Crescent (mel 66 F11) 14. Becomes Sassafrass Creek Rd - follow back onto Monbulk Rd (mel 75 K2) 15. Continue through roundabout & Dandenong Rangers National Park Sherbrooke 16. Through roundabout onto main st. becomes Burwood Hwy Belgrave (mel 75 E9) 17. Back through to Upper Ferntree Gully Stop at Hotel or Pub for Lunch Brad

James man can you share the name of your medication supplier ? ......Dillz only reason I'm gona do it on the 27th is cos I'm back at work on the 28th by all means if there is interest to re-do the glen to the lake and more can go on the 28th then awesome ( I'll be at work ragin' with jealousy). Speaking of repeating a cruise I wouldnt mind doing the Mt Baw Baw run maybe Feb March next year? Pics looked real nice and so did the couple short vids, and feedback from all who went was real good. Anyway back on this one I'll be heading up on the 27th even if it's just me Xmas day with the family, Boxing day will be doing SFA except give the car a clean then day after go for a leisurly drive.
-
Sorry man had to work tonight retail rocks my world !! Washed the car last night then freakin rain all day today I'll be givin it another wash on sunday night, might have a bit of splash after or even before I clean it

Hi Guy's thinking of heading up dandenong's back down through to Lilydale on Dec 27th just to get one in beofre the year ends, nothing major no big organising just head up similar route like the "glen to the lake" cruise Dillz organised a way back. Possibly quick stint down eastlink then back and exit off burwood hwy right through to FT-Gully up the mountains then back through Lilydale perhaps. Anyone welcome of course, I have a rare 3 days off which includes xmas day so thought id do a bit of a mini cruise. Brad

-
Great day guy's cheers !! first of many to come for me Thanks to James and Clarence (hope that's how it's spelt) looking forward to seeing the pics, alot of awesome looking and sounding machines was incredible on the way to station pier to look over and see rows of T's 4 across and 4-5 deep at the lights and then to hear the symphony of BOV's really enjoyed it. Brad
-
Thanks Matte, might take you up on that. As Dags pointed out switching from rubber has the potential to cause other issues that I hadnt thought of (thanks dags) Cheers Brad
-
Hi all, recently had to replace the Hard Rubber Universal Joining Plate just down from the Universal Joint itself (see pic) Due to the Torque my car produces the Rubber Plate develops splits alongside each of the bolt holes and literally gets ripped away from the Steel Backing Plate. The part cost me $240 and I had to get it from a Supplier of Burson's as Ford dont sell the Rubber Plate on it's own rather they make you buy the entire freaking drive train !! Anyway was wondering if anyone knew if there was an aftermarket one made out of Billit or even Steel, as the same thing is sure to happen again. ( sorry bout the pic quality they were taken with my phone ) Cheers Brad

For me being a new T owner I have never experienced what a dyno day is like for any car. I have never even been to one, so for me it would be far from boring. I'm sure there are new member's who would like to come along and also members who have not had a run on the dyno for a while who also would like to come along. Obviously there's a large amount of people who have done it and are happy doing more cruises or track days etc which is fine as I'm looking forward to taking part in those, but the last time my car was on the dyno was a few months ago with the previous owner so am curious to see how it and others go. Plus it's a good opportunity to meet other drivers and talk about what they have while you're actually looking at the car. I think at this stage maybe a day planned in mid to late January even. If there are any workshops that are interested please let me know and we can work out some details. Cheers Brad
-
Hopefully I'll have confirmed details by early to mid January give or take a couple finalising details so as to give people enough time to organise leave and save the pennies
-
I work in retail so going right through non stop except for xmas day and boxing day. Other than a couple extended weekend trips ( friday-monday etc ) I havent had a holding for a good 18 months and even then it was forced leave as I had too much of it so just did some stuff around the house. The last actual holiday I went on was about 4 years ago spent 5 days in Perth which was freakin awesome !!
-
sounds like a good plan to me dillz. How do we go about organising one ?
-
Awesome, thanks heaps everyone gives me some really good ideas and options to think about and price etc. I'm actually wanting to get some info from Simon about the new 4" quad straight through system nizpro are developing. The guy who owned the car before me was wanting to put it on but at the time they said it was too expensive. So see what happens next year I guess Cheers Brad

Sweet mate sounds like a plan !! Hey mate that's awesome V Power is not essential Optimax is fine at shell which is 98 same as Ultimate. Will keep you updated with more info as I get it Cheers Brad
-
Yeah mate everyone runs 98 as a minimum, if I get to a shell I run V Power which is 101 ron, I've got the list of Shell and BP's in Tassie Mobil's site indicates they have no petrol stations down there. If you can get together say 2-3 possibilities for routes then I can gather the accomodation info. Are you also able to find out if there are any camping sites in any of the national parls along any of the routes? I have just checked hotel/motels and caravan park sites with cabins and camping sites but surely there are camp sites available in some of the national parks. Cheers Brad

Hey Stoney, absolutely looking for suggestions and advice. You guy's are the ones who live there so are the best ones to ask of which routes to go for. So if you guys could think of a good route to cover over say a 4-5 day period factoring in another day at the start and another day at the end will be utililised to stay at the Prince of Wales ( be in Tassie for total 7-8 days ), that way I can then work out the accomodation side of things and then will be able to put dates times routes names of accomodation places prices and petrol station locations. Any other suggestions you guy's can give is more than welcome, so far I have gathered names and locations on: * Spirit of Tasmania * Hotels * Caravan Parks * Locations of Shell, B.P. and Mobil servo's Back on page on post number - 16 has a list of topics that I thought we would need to cover off. If there is anything you can help with or suggest please let me know Cheers Brad

Very interesting article indeed. Just saw a promo for A Current Affair for tonight that has a story about speed camera's, looks worth a look.

Sounds good mate. I picked up a UHF Radio the other day also, so will be wired for sound.

Hi Guy's, just want to get some info from some of the educated and experienced people on suggestions on possible next steps for my car. The list of mods so far are: -AVO FMIC - Xforce SS exhaust 3" - Nizpro Valve springs - Bigger injectors - Nizpro plenum - Mal Wood T56 - Option 3 clutch - Plazmaman plumbing with CAI - King springs front and back 2" lower The car had a complete AVO stage 3 kit but has since been replaced with Nizpro plenum and plumbing from Plazmaman which includes the CAI. It was recently tuned by Nizpro when the plenum was fitted and it made 341rwkw on 14psi. Ultimately id like to reach low to mid 400rwk but realise that will more than likely mean a biigger bottom end and rebuild perhaps as it is a BA. So just wondering is there anything I can do prior to that to gain another 30-40 rwk's that would be a stepping stone to getting the bigger bottom end and or rebuild. Any suggestions are much appreciated and looking forward to the 7th Cheers Brad
