  1. I can't believe people are trying to retrofit this!!?!! I find it the most annoying noise ever in my mates Pursuit.... each to their own I suppose! On the subject, but the complete opposite of the intial poster's objective; does anyone know how to get the chime turned off?!! We went into sunshine ford on the Gold Coast, shortly after my mate purchased the ute second hand requesting if anyone knew how to turn the shift beep off and the 'helpfull' man in service said he didn't know of such a 'shift beep' and that we were obviously abusing the car to the point where it was giving an audible warning and should lay off it....so he obviously had no idea what we were talking about and had never heard it before! After this we assumed it is not possible to turn off and put up with it......
  2. Good to meet some like minded ford nuts! Unfortunately there was a copper with someone already pulled over just accross the road when I went to give it a squirt on the way out! Just an idea for another time - cruise up the Newport Arms for some grub on a Sunday avo some time (weather permitting!) and a quick blat round those roads down to Akuna Bay that you mentioned ZAP_F6, making sure to avoid those lycra wearing types often found struggling up the hills staring at each others arses......? Cheers, Adam
  3. I'll be there. Everyone turning up at 7 or a bit before, to shoot the sh*t on all things car related? (providing its not pissing it down!) Cheers, Adam
  4. Gents, I' be interested in coming along to this meet to introduce myself. You got room for a new member? (and not that kind of member.......) Cheers, Adam
  5. Mine does exactly the same thing, but only at small throttle openings and when it is cold. Once its warmed up it's fine. It does seem like a cold start mapping issue, glad to hear mines not the only one doing it! Still a little annoying when your creeping round the back streets whilst its cold. Not a problem I ever had with my old EB!!
  6. Launch control is still active even with Traction Contol turned off, tried it the other night. I haven't tried it with Traction Control on yet, but in the dry with Traction Control off there was anough axle tramp to make repeating the exercise not particularly desirable.... Adam
