using it on a XP x64 box, find its crashes sometimes... no ideas why... just locks up.

a couple more boys scotty and you'll have your own pit crew take it easy big fella... I'll try to keep my exposure levels low over the summer period... can't guarantee anything though

it's been a while since I've posted anything new, but I haven't really done much in the ways of out there stuff. Anyways, tonight I went to the Aussie Outback Spectacular, was a blast... awesome times if you get a kick outta aussie heritage like me (even though I lived & breathed horses and cows growing up) it is still an awesome evening. me being mattson - I smuggled my camera into the show... with a prime pozzie elevated above all the other guests in the top corner... it gave me a decent vantage point. Here's the piccies... all shot with no flash and ISO 800 - various shutter speeds around the 1/20th - 1/200th mark through a 5D with a 70-200 F2.8 L IS lens: Cheers, Matt

are there any gold coast people coming?

just make sure your mobo fits in them... I noticed a lot of the better antec cases only support half height boards

don't forget that he did the exact same thing at indy last year to Jason Bright (or was it the year before) when he couldn't get past him... he just shunted him off the track... He can't drive, he's a self-confessed rich kid playing race driver, he wouldn't have a career if his daddy hadn't paid for it.. and I'm sure another few million dollars of donations to avesco will make this go away too. I really hope all the evidence goes against him and he gets stripped his points... that would really put a rock up his arse for me. ...but I doubt that will happen, he can rejoice in the fact that his tact-less driving style has won him something. I couldn't find an e-mail address for rickkelly.com.au... but I found this on a whois: Domain Name: rickkelly.com.au Last Modified: 13-May-2006 08:02:19 UTC Registrar ID: R00014-AR Registrar Name: PlanetDomain Status: OK Registrant: KELLY, RICK ADAM Registrant ID: ABN 67003496965 Eligibility Type: Sole Trader Registrant ROID: C3095874-AR Registrant Contact Name: Tanna Winter Registrant Email: information.service@creeight.com.au Tech ID: C3095874-AR Tech Name: Tanna Winter Tech Email: information.service@creeight.com.au Name Server: ns1.leewallis.net Name Server: ns2.leewallis.net e-mail that address and had them pass on your fan mail Matt

I'm on my second set of NS2's now... had the last set on the coon for 2 years... including some burnies and 1 skidpan, did near 40000km's on them, and they probably would have lasted another 6-12 months had the camber problem I encountered not chewed the insides down to the belts. they still had 30% meat on the middle and outer edge. during the 2 years they were on the car, I never lost grip or traction in the wet or dry (except if t/c) was off and towards the end I pushed them really hard on some wet days to see if they would break free they didn't... started to get a bit under steer-y in the front on their last days though, but they were completely bald on the inside edge. I've heard of some cracking side-walls, as was suggested take them back and get them swapped. I'm all for get what you pay for, and when it comes to 19" tyres that all seem to last about 40-50000km's that range between $200-$1000 a tyre, for me it's about longevity, then price, then performance, and the NS2 has met all those criteria. I'm not saying they are the best tyre - by no means... they suit me, my driving style and my budget.

I don't think anyone was disputing it was modified in Germany, but it seems dags you were arguing that it wasn't destined for the US streets.

I just had my monitor professionally calibrated - so I know the colour it is... it's acid rush - so an early BA as the colour didn't last long did it? and yeah, I'm pretty sure he says hot XR as a number plate. friend of mine had a gti-r with exhaust, cooler, pod and reflash the thing made 180 all wheel kws... and it would choppy choppy my 160 all wheel kw wrx which ran a 12.9 an I know my near stock XR with it's 14.6 would be no match for one of those. I reckon he was giving it too the bluebird - as it stuck in behind for the few seconds of footage... the reason it was probably cut there is the remarkable come from behind victory for 'hot xr' as it hit second gear

yeah, never been a big fan of usb networking devices since I had one a few years back... would drop out when I played Ultima Online... not good. I'll stick to PCI devices I reckon. going back to Veczar's comment about sound and the x-fi, while I don't dispute it is an awesome sound card, I am outputting my Audigy 4 through SP-Dif straight into my amplifier, so I do not need any fancy sound card for a direct digital feed, and I definately wasn't going to pay the asking price for the x-fi either... lol

P.S. admittedly I've spent more then $1500 on the MCE HTPC box, and I could probably get a twin-hd tunner STB and a DVD STB for much less, but neither have the ability to hook into a wi-fi network so I can watch the stories I download off the internet... which is just such a bonus for me.

I built a media centre a month or so back using a P4 - 2.6ghz cpu, 2gb hi-po ram, 200gb hdd, 16x dvd, Nvidia 6600gt gfx card, dvico dual-HD tuner card and sound blaster audigy 4 sound card, running XP MCE 2005, run's a treat. I already have a wi-fi network in my house, so it just connects to that... watch /record high-def shows, steam DivX & XviD movies across the airwaves no dramas. No crashes, lag, problems anything. it's pefect, unlike zapper, I'd highly recommend them oh yeah as for noise, a $400 case sorted that out... quite as a baby sleeping. Matt

try IMDB - it should list his tv/movie career stuff there

did anyone see season 6 of top gear - he was pretty much having problems with his Ford GT since he got it from the states... no wonder he's a little angry against American cars as for The Good, The Bad and the Ugly, it's on the DL as we speak thanks for the heads up

I got made redundant about a month ago too... luckily I have been busy setting up my photography business, so I have a fall back

The G-string Epidemic.. Your Opinion.. Omg Look!
mattson replied to MERV SKILTON's topic in All Videos and Multimedia
I'm definitely not advocating any kiddy fiddlin here, but I made a similar point about jr g-strings when I saw them once in a shopping mall, she said back in her younger days when she competed in the state gymnastics tourneys it was a requirement for girls to wear underwear under the leotards, but they couldn't wear the regular undies cause they hung out the sides and would lose points for presentation, so the only option was jr g-strings. I do believe though that they should never be photographed being worn by a child of that age demographic as that's just bordering on paedophilia. That said, I'm very partial to seeing them on adult women, I don't even mind when they leave the screen door open (the T-bar hanging out of the top of the hipsters) although I draw the line at seeing waitresses hanging their tea-towels through them at restaurants, maybe I'm just too much of a prude Lol Matt -
save your $$, torrent it instead

I want to know what that funny little black thing around the indicator light is

hmm, with those timings, maybe I can attend afterall. I won't go cart, but I will take pics of the wacky racers... what time are the gold coasters leaving? movie world at 7:30am??

I got sick of my shudder too, so while it was in getting a long list of problems fixed (good to have a brother who works for ford service) I got a new set of DBA 4000's fitted, instead of the usual machine or replace...

dayum, that white thing with the black roof is an ugly arse combo... JR (whoever he is) should be ashamed of himself. I like the last two bonnet ideas posted above though... the second of the two works for me
