  1. I'm looking at getting this done and was wondering if anyone knew of a good place to go to in Sydney area? I have had some bad experiences in getting work done on my exhaust in the past and I'm just after someone that can do a nice neat job. Cheers

    Abs Problems

I have the exact same problem, changed the disks, pads and the master cylinder but the issue is still there. Also gone down the path of wheel alignment and balance still no luck. I know 100% my brakes are grabbing cause I'm changing pads every 4 months. One thing I have noticed is that it is a little better since I changed the master cylinder, I'm thinking of changing the brake lines do you think that is the right path or should I give Ford a call.
  3. Nah it doesn't feel like they are fading
  4. Just an update on this, took the car to a mate that's a mechanic and he thinks it is the master brake cylinder, has anyone heard of this failing on the falcons? Also I might ask him to check the wheel bearings before he changes that.
  5. I changed the brakes myself so I know that didn't get done. Can you recommand a place where I can get this done? I'm based in Sydney
  6. I’m currently having an issue with my T where I’m experiencing steering shudder and vibrations which can be felt under the front driver and passenger seats and foot well. I have pin pointed this issue occurs when driving on a long stretch of road where brakes have been applied to slow the car down (but not to come to a complete stop). This issue does not occur with your foot on the brake but whilst driving normally. The only way I have been able to temp fix this is by pulling over on the side of the road wait about a min then drive off again that seems to solve the issue, until you starting breaking again on the long stretch of road. I’m running out of ideas on what’s causing this I have changed the front disks and pads twice (currently running DBA 4000 Slotted) changed the rear disk and pads, done a wheel balance and alignment, also had the rims checked to see if they are buckled. Right now the mechanics think I’m crazy because they can’t see the issue (just my luck). Has anyone had or seen any issues like this? Any idea what I should have a look at next?
  7. Jim Carrey Who is hotter Adrian Lima or Jennifer Hawkins
  8. Just a few quick questions on servicing the T, does anyone have any good recommendations on a good mechanic to use in the Sydney area (not fussed on location as I'm willing the drive if they are good) and also I plan on changing the oil and filter between services (say every 5000-7000) what brand oil and filter would you recommend.
  9. But if you want to start hunting this down yourself before you go out I would check the alternator first, also have you replaced the battery? In my old AU XR6 when I changed the battery it would idle pretty low and come close to stalling and would do that till the computer fixed itself. How is the car idling st startup would you say it's lower then normal

    Dba 4000 Rotors

Did Ford ever fix this issue in the BF series?

I've just put on some DBA 4000 slotted on the front and DBA 4000 standard on the rears with Ferodo Formula pads right around and this solved my shudder issue, I wish I did sooner
  12. that's true, but when your on a busy motorway and some little doof doof car goes weaving in and out forcing people to slam on their brakes because doof doof wants to squeeze between two cars tighter then a nuns you know what they deserved to be punished. I'm not a Sunday driver sitting there in the right lane doing 70 in 1110 zone but I will do it to people that annoy me on the road with their retard driving.
  13. I agree with Rated X, so many times I see rice cars driving like total tools weaving around traffic on busy motorways an accident waiting to happen so I do the same thing get myself into position and block the sucker in. Hey I might be a *beep* but at least they are not going to kill anyone. let the flaming begin
  14. Yeah I'm going to go for the Ferodo pads, if I have time this weekend I might jack it up and have a look at the bearings just in case that's the issue even though I doubt it
