Hi I live in the uk I,m trying to get my diff built over here but I need help from someone that is about to rebuild there m86 diff. I need to get the numbers of the bearing cases and races for the pinion bearings,diff bearings and the wheel bearings. my man over hear will see if he can get them here if I no what the sizes are. thanks stu.

HI EVERYONE JUST A NOTE FOR EVERYONE WITH A POSSIBLE MISFIRE BEFORE GOING DOWN THE ROUTE AND COST OF FITTING NEW COILS AND PLUGS AND WISE TO CHECK ANYWAY. I FOUND TO MY SUPRIZE THAT THE WIRES GOING TO THE CAM SENSOR ON THE BACK OF THE HEAD ON THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD SIDE HAD MELTED TOGETHER AND WAS MISFIRING WHEN THE ENGINE GOT HOT.THIS LOOKS LIKE A DESIGN FAULT BY FORD.I HAVE CUT IN NEW WIRES 2X AND COVERED IN FOIL AND CABLED TIED THEM TO THE WATER PIPES (LOOSELY) OUT THE WAY OF THE HEAT AND THE UTE IS NOW RUNNING WITHOUT FAULT AGAIN. MERRY XMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Hi I,m have some misfire problems myself,it started wiith after driving it hard when I took my foot off the gas and then reapplied my foot it was sputtering for a few seconds and then just seamed to clear until I done the same again,but over time it has now started to sputtering mid rev range,its like its got fuel starvation but its electrical or coils.its only done 65,000 kms. what you have said makes sence and I will look at the wiring tomorrow and you say its at the back off the head? what am I looking for ie loom damage or some thing like that? thanks Stu Mac ps what where your symtoms to make you look bud?

Hi I have had a knocking noise coming from the n/s/f strut / wheel area.I have changed the top and bottom ball joints the bushes all look fine.the question is has anyone heard of the insert coming loose in the strut body,the noise sounds like the top strut mount has gone but it hasn,t ? as from my profile I live in the uk and the p+p is more money than the parts themselves I,m over on holiday on the 21st and going to throw the cloths out the cases and return with ute parts just want to bring the right parts home.thanks stu.
