  1. Since I upgraded to 6 pot Brembos up front on my ute, I personally believe a waste of money. The extra money spent could have been used to repair it after turning the DSC switch off and losing control hitting a kerb.....Different story for my F6 with six pot front and 4 pot rear...I reckon the front/back brake bias(?) after upgrading is all wrong. I believe the Ford dealer who didn't have a problem selling the upgrade shouldn't have as something not right.

Hello fellow enthusiasts, my FG XR6T ute was involved in a low speed collision with a speed hump with a electric gate rail, which shattered the gearbox crossmember and the mini chassis rail supports needing replacement. It bounced and gouged them out after the initial damage.Also the ride height was factory as well. Could have this also affected the diff as I am sure there is a slight bearing noise/ vibration harmonic I have heard more frequently coming from the back end? I had a brake shudder issue which was a FPV fix (upgraded to 6 pot Brembo's up front) so I know how noises can come and go which can baffle the tech's from time to time.

  4. It took 8 months and finally got the FG F6! If you want to cruise GT is fine but if you want to have fun F6 is best.
  5. Does anyone know if the FG F6 will come in an R spec version soon? I was a V8 man until I bought my FGXR6T ute. If a GT came out with 350-400 rwKw I might consider one but for now next car an F6.

  8. I have already changed my engine oil at 915 ks to Nulon synthetic 10W - 40. The oil that came out from factory was mid toffee colour and took a sample within a clear container to see if any floaty bits. Amazing to see micro glitter flicker amongst the oil. Hopefully ran it in o.k. Had some fun at the lights with some character and chirped in second to leave way behind. Has anyone had issues with Non factory Capa box tuning and Ford dealers voiding some part of the warranty? The ute is great as it is but would be interesting with 40 -50 more kWs. Just waiting on advertising before pics.
  9. I will put some pics on in next couple of days. I want to get some signage done on rear window and a boss 315 type decal except with TURBO written in as I have XR8 bonnet. Lightning Strike with orange plates and orange bonnet decal soon. Tech pack with 18" rims and tow pack as company ute. Originally a Expensive Daewoo man but the BF - FG Falcon IMO is the best shape currently.
  10. You guessed right, FG XR6T! I didn't want to cane it with only 120ks on the clock but I gave it enough stick for it not to leave me behind.The T is quick even without run in compared with my dynoed V8's( 329 fkWs ) and would have left them behind. Still has me worried so after run in down to XFT for a tune.
  11. WOW! Compared to the BF GT and GT-P I owned the ute is dynamite for its value. I got excited last night and possibly hit the high rev warning as something flashed in the LH side of dash. This was due to a Mitsubishi Magna flooring it and I could not help myself. Obviously I tried to not overdo it but strange enough the Magna kept its lead. Did any come out with turbos? This was a one off event.

'
