  3. Don't replace with Ford parts - you will pay a fortune, ring Ford if you feel like a laugh how much they charge. From memory at their 45000km service they try pull the 4 rotor and pads change over You can ring a place like Race Brakes Sydney and get DBA rotors and better pads to replace for a lot less that Ford OEM parts
  4. Nice work mate, exhaust sounds pretty tough! Does it drone at all from 80-110km/h cruising? What does the Nizpro system look like from the back? I'm planning to upgrade my turbo/manifold/intake next year some time, give me a PM if you're interested when the time comes.. it's had the XFT work over
  5. Nothing yet mate, I have a GT-E/G6E lip spoiler for the boot to go on... that's next on the list with some new Nitto tyres. Still got a large wish list of things to do I will take on next year

  7. Yeah it's a nice surprise to get better economy when the F6 is tuned! I've never had my average down that low though, instant yes but not average... think 10.4L/100 best I have seen on highway driving with quite sedate right foot driving.. I have 12.2 now as there hasn't been much highway action and when I'm driving it I'm on boost a lot Best I got my VE GTS (manual) was 12.3L/100 driving like an old man on the highway, so I'm still winning

  10. HUUUUGE drop in resale pricing now... FARRRK! I tell you what, I will NOT be selling my F6 for a long LONG time I knew this was on the cards though... Fords have never held value, I have preyed on buying bargains from near new 2nd hand Fords for a while now...
  11. Good result, nice to see another F6 manual - there aren't thaaaat many around! How's your clutch holding up? mine wasn't the best with stock power What's your locking problem? I may have a similar issue. My central locking sometimes doesn't work (say 1-2 times in 20) when the alarm/lock is pressed, a quick work around for me is to turn ignition on and off then it arms and locks together like it should. Haven't had it back to Ford for them to check it - I have my doubts in their confidence though!

  13. Good luck with the sale bud, I can't see good prices for 2nd hand F6's when Ford are selling them for 59k driveaway - that's no secret now. Which sucks if you bought new! I have been watching the market for a few months and I even think mine would struggle to get many bites if I had it for sale at this point of time.. everyone wants a bargain. I think if you are able to get mid 40's then take it, the market for a FG's won't get any better

    Yeah I aint impressed, no 6/4 brembos standard = FAIL There is hardly much to differ this to a normal black GT, as it was said! It's a REAL shame they didn't follow the concept with ducts on front bar and wider 20" rims at the back
  15. Edge 0-40 for my F6 (recommended by XFT), was considering the Edge 10-60 also
  16. Definitely keen to have a play with a built engine and turbo/manifold set up down the track.. waiting to finish building my house first! So, unfortunately I must play the game of wait

  18. It's going great.. Had a good little squirt in her today and it brings a smile to my face every time I drive it. Really wish I could do a few more things to it REAL soon, but I'll have to be patient and wait till things work out.. I have a GT-E lip spoiler to fit still, then I'd like some new wheels and coilovers/sway bars... the list is long but things will start moving again shortly. Have only clocked up a few thousand km's in the last 5 months, would really like to get out for a few cruises and down the drags when I get some new rear rubber.

    I gained about 2kw with new valve springs.. they are there for protection more than anything. Is your tuner going to up the boost a bit with the new springs? Simon capped mine at 16psi, I have heard of a few guys going 18-19psi with stock internals no drama as yet on the FG F6 engines

    Lookin good.. do you know what boost they put it to? I'd be considering fuel system upgrades as that will be on the limit of factory fuel supply.

    Looking good mate, bling under the bonnet looks SWEET with your black panels What boost are you running? 360 at the treads is fun in the manuals eh.. how's the clutch holding up?
  24. Go the cooler before exhaust! Clutch is apparently ok up to 340-350kw at the wheels if you are nice to it, saying that I had problems with mine putting out stock power - launch testing couldn't be repeated after the first one.
