I dont get it..... Ford marketing A few months ago they sent me a letter asking me to test drive a new falcon and I would get a free mag subscription for six months. But I had just bought a new falcon! I could understand this if a new model had just been released but not the same 'ol one I already have. Not to look a gift horse in the mouth I called them and arranged to test drive a GTP (and wasnt that fun )and got a free subscribe to Wheels but it just cost them money and achieves nothing. Now today they have sent me a colour brochure to advertise falcon classic and SR. Why? Do they want me to downgrade from my much dearer XRT to a falcon SR. Anyone out there with a marketing degree who can explain to me why they are wasting millions on pointless campaigns aimed at people who already buy their product instead of just making the cars cheaper for their loyal customers

OK did anyone see today tonite the other day? It had a guy on who insures people for speeding fines. I think it was $65 dollars a yr and they pay half of every fine you get! Did anyone else see this? and has anyone tried it out?

I have been using eagle one tyre shine! it does a great job but it can cause a little junk to stick so you have to wash it well everytime.

ok close call with the cops... P plates NSW doing about 160k/hr between bathurst and orange and yes I know young and stupid cops came round the bend in the road ahead with the radar out, you could see the front end dive as they ripped on the anchors. By then I can see the whirly lights go on in the rear view as they chuck a U turn after me. So I pull up on the side of the road waiting to loose my license, and then they turn of the lights chuck another U turn and beetle off back they way they came. WTF.. close calls with death..... well the best one would have to be when I was on the back of a ute loaded with railway sleepers (14 in total) . We were doing about 60 down the access road when the driver put a wheel into a culvert and flipped the thing straight onto its roof. I landed in the bottom of the ditch with the sleepers stacked on top of me. My mate crawled out of the cab and pulled me from under the sleepers and we walked home. Barely even had a bruise. was a little shaky for 10mins or so though.
