  1. Let us know if you need a hand Ben I'm only over the hill now. Looks like I'm in town this week if you need anything.
  2. Got a feeling after going for a ride in this today that is going to run some numbers. 650rwhp thu a power glide is pretty stout.
  3. Will this car be eligible for modified street blown. It would be cool to see it in to top ten list against all the turbo v8s and gassed toranas.
  4. I know a guy like benny. If he told me the sun was shining I would go outside and check. He has nothing on Benny though. You have to ask what it is with people like that that think they have to make up stories all the time. The guy I know like that isn't a bad bloke, just full of sh*t.
  5. That guy must have 2 dicks, he couldn't be that stupid playing with one...
  6. More Benny stories please.
  7. I'm the same, can put cars and bikes together, can't work a computer very well. Ute went 764 in rocky at car show last weekend swell. Moving house at the moment butcwhen we moved in il get her to put em up.
  8. Yep, went 762 and 764 rwhp back to back then drove home. Pro dyno in rocky are going to e mail a video of it to me. Single turbo maloo went 870 I was told. Aiming for 800 rwhp on race fuel at the comp in august.
  9. Bit of an update on the old girl. Done nearly ten thousand ks since new engine was fitted, been to drags couple local dyno comps, dump runs, moto riding, wife even drove herself to our wedding in it 2 months ago. Use it for for work every morning when I'm in town and groceries. Only problems being a tensioner pulley on serpentine belt and blocked fuel filter. Have a new tune for it and heading to rocky tomorrow arv for dyno comp as part of a car show. Hoping for a bit over the 700 rwhp mark on 98. Also using it to shift furniture next weekend when I move house. Have far exceeded my initial goals I set out for when started this build nearly 3 years ago and can't wait to show you all what I will have done in the next 6 months
  10. If I drove my car like I stole it full of beer I don't reckon I'd even make it to the end if the street. Bit of a reality check for bam maybe. If he thinks it's hard dealing with that try getting told your mate has topped himself or seeing one of your best mates put a baby in the ground, or being the parents of those people........
  11. 07 crf450 and now 10 kxf450. Would be a temporary resident on a road bike. Prob get a Harley when I'm old and don't want to go fast anymore .
  12. Last time I went in to the ford dealer for a look the guy said to me when I was looking at a new gt "stretching the budget a bit there arent we" if he saw my payslips I bet he would not say that.
  13. Are you for real. You must have nuts the size of watermelons.
  14. Used to race bmx a little, raced dh from when I was 16 and race enduro when I can now. Hard to find time to ride working away. Have raced mx a couple of times but it's not really my thing, love the bush hence so many years racing dh.
  15. My ute made over 500 rwkw with a t51r on pump fuel. Has your head been ported ?
  16. Good sh*t. Flat out at work at the moment had one day off in last 3 weeks. Once we move into the new house il spend some more money on ute. Prob gunn a go upgraded tailshaft and diff, slicks and front runners. More boost and better fuel, fingers crossed gearbox does not fall out of it
  17. Mate I just got married and had a heap of trouble getting cars. In the end I used mates cars which was lucky. All it cost me was fuel for one of the cars and I gave each driver a carton. People who did not know me were not keen and my mates were only too happy to help. Maybe go in the nsw section and ask on there. We actually used my ute as the brides car (she drove) and had a ball.
  18. Mate I can relate to the working away thing. It sucks at times being away and working weekends when everyone is having fun but when I look under my house and see what I have compared to what was under there when I bought it it feels good. Money does not buy happiness but it buys cool toys and let's face it that's what these cars are. Toys for big people.
  19. Il have to come round and check your stuff out welshy it sounds the goods. How's work goin?
  20. You should also worry about unit stickers if you ride dirt bikes. Unit sticker = next Chad reed
  21. The more you drive it the more confident you will get. Give it time and you will have your foot buried the whole way. I am keen to take mine back but work commitments mean mine is just seeing street duty for the moment.
  22. That would nearly spin the tires on wet grass if you really layer into it.
  23. Wife Went to rocky in it the other week, got into town and engine light came on and idled rough, got racq to have a look and he reckoned misfire and was right to drive, towed it home anyway. Old man has built and destroyed more than his fair share over the years and he reckons bent valve. They asked wife if she had driven thru water recently and she said she had, creek 6 inches deep and 2 meters across so they won't even pull it apart for a look Mazda australia is telling them not to and it is water damage, therefore no warranty. Water was driven through 3 days before light came on and first thing I checked was the oil and there is no signs of water in oil. Insurance is goin for a look tomorrow and I'm guessing they are goin to say water damage too. You could buy a pretty mad xr6 short motor for 12k and chev crate engines are pretty cheap too. If the insurance says water damage will either take it to my engine builder for a second opinion or fix it ourselves. I can see this dragging out and costing more than it should. That and the service manager not liking me anymore. I think they are goin to play stupid so I might have to play annoying customer person back.
  24. Having some problems with Mazda waranty at the moment, car is 2008 model Mazda 3 and has a 4 year warranty. Won't go into too many details at this stage but they are saying a new motor is 12k. Seems a bit much to me. Wondering if anyone has had one of these replaced before. From what I can see so far Mazda mechanics are a bunch of retards and not that I would but my wife will never buy from them again. Cheers
  25. Holy diver, dio. Los Angeles is burning, bad religion Had a good day ha ha
