  1. That was on et streets too wasn't it. When you go to a full slick it might be a taller tire, might save you getting new diff gears. Have a few people looking at dirt moto. The money from that should pay for a few goodies. If yours ran a ten mine would have to get in the twelves with a tailwind.
  2. Yeah did it on the bike. Rode over a log in a sandy creek bed and put my foot down and it just went pop. Rode another 10 mins and put foot down again and it went pop click. I used to laugh at footy players when they did stuff like this and they rolled all over the field screaming. I now know why because it hurts.... A lot.
  3. I was up until 2 weeks ago right into riding enduro on dirt bike and bit of dh Mtb on the side. Torn my acl so I'm going to have to leave the bikes until I have had surgery. Going to turn underneath my house into a man cave so my mates can come round and I can tell em how good I used to be.
  4. love your work.
  5. Bit late but I would have said plugs or fuel filter.
  6. I'm out at work at the moment and my ute is in the shop, il try get the boys to have a look next week. Do you want it as it sits on the road?
  7. All I know is they load a hard pack tune into it. I think they richen it up a bit.
  8. Yeah it's efi mate.
  9. Nah it's couttsies 2 day, about half hr north of rocky. I ride 10 kxf450. I'm a skinny bloke so I gotta be real smooth. It's a brilliant bike for open flat track and motocross but the motor is too responsive for a mortal like me in the bush. I have made quite a few changes in the last few weeks and it's way better than the setup I had for it last year. If I get time I'm goin to drop it into the shop next week so they put a softer tune in.
  10. What do the aspirin do? I always drink as much water as I can in the days leading up. I do a lot of forearm stretches too. Also have a practice loop similar to what we race on and I have noticed big improvements. I think time on the bike is the best thing. What bikes do you guys ride.
  11. Yeah my mate is looking at them, bit out of his price range since his wife just had a new baby
  12. Also feel free to tell stories of woe. We always seem to start on a bike each and end up riding one with wifey helping out fueling bikes in a Bathurst style rider change over, first year an exhaust fell off and last year we had 3 flat front tires on the one bike. Good fun though when it's all said and done and you are having a beer.
  13. Hey anyone else on here race enduro on dirt bikes. I have done a 2 day race with a mate the last few years and we are racing again first weekend in sept. Any tips on how to stop arm pump etc. Have been trying to get out on the bike as much as possible the last month. We always tape our hands up to stop blisters have salt tablets to stop cramps. Anyone has any tips would be good.
  14. That would put it at the pointy end of the field in top door slammer.
  15. What is wrong with t51r, good street turbo in my opinion.
  16. I'm not planning on racing it, just have a big dyno comp up here next week. Got some roo 16 for the old girl and going to wind some more boost in.
  17. Hey bud you still run the standard tailshaft and diff in this don't you. Winding mine up a bit next week and the boys are a bit concerned.
  18. So far this week iv done well over 2500 kms. Same route every day. I do not like the truck at this present time. Hanging out to drive my
  19. Funny thing is when I'm home in my ute I am more than happy to follow someone 10 under the limit. No one ever really tailgates me (wifes little car is a bit different) I don't really get angry. I think the fact I am just happy to be home mellows me out a bit.
  20. Saw a good one yesterday. Got stuck behind some tool between dysart and peak downs doin 80, nowhere to overtake. Finally got a chance to get past and he sped up too 115, the ol truck could not even keep. This guy also moved to the extreme left of the road, nearly in the dirt every time a vehicle came the other way. The only thing I could think off is he was paranoid of other traffic hence the swerving and not wanting to be overtaken.
  21. Henz I get so worked up sometimes I want to ram people off the road. It is always on the way home where I'm trying to make good time that I get stuck behind someone or someone does something dumb.
  22. Okay so this is my little rant about annoying/ dangerous drivers. I probably drive on average 1000km most weeks in between Moura, gladstone, backwater, dysart and moranbah. My work vehicle is a medium rigid truck and weighs 8 tons. Flat out down a hill with a tailwind if you have a big set of nuts top speed is around 130. Flat out on the flat around 110-115. Some hills if steep I'm down to 60km/h. Some of the roads I drive on are a disgrace. I actually like driving the truck. You really can't get into too much trouble from the plod (unlike my ute), driving 4 hrs gives me time to listen to my music and dream up things to do to my car/house, and drink lots of ice break. If we have 2 people goin to a job you just talk sh*t and if we are coming home and you are passenger it's usually beer o'clock. The thing that sh*ts me is the amount of dumb things I see that endanger MY life. Not one trip do I go on do I not see someone do something dumb or inconsiderate. Funnily enough it's not excessive speed or burnouts that I see that are dangerous. What I see on a daily basis is Overtaking on double white lines with road trains coming the other way, 50 meters to spare with both me and the truck breaking heavily. Overtaking in roadworks zones Overtaking on blind crests in the rain at night. People that do 85 kp/h then speed up to 110 on overtaking lane ( usually caravans and old people) Tailgating High beams at night Disregarding police escorting a wide load only to have to reverse 100m back over a bridge (that one was kinda funny) I might sound like a bit of a hypocrite because I have done some really dumb things in my life but I just get so worked up when some of this happens. I thought maybe some other people could share some stories. Surely I'm not the only one out there who sees this stuff all the time. for listening to my rant.
  23. Yep il get copy. It should wake quite a few people up and save quite a few lives. Good stuff.
  24. What is the go with the coil packs, are they msd?
  25. Ha ha starting to notice all the p platers around here driving massively lowered xr6s with big exhausts. Even fpv badges. Still not as bad as chev badges on v6 comodores though.
