thanks guys selling the GTR as its just so much money, everything is so expensive for it, and I can buy a house. reason for the F6X is nooooo not a family haha, im 24 lol, as I was going to use it to tow my new track car once I get rid of my GTR, but might just have the F6x and mod it instead. im not keen on going anywhere near 350kw as its not going to be thrashed, the T51r is because I love the sound, had the same on my GTR and I think it would be cool on my F6x. GREGO 77 it will be awesome to see some results of you TT. and not so much that it might have a smaller turbo, im pretty sure its a 3582, but with a .63 ar so comes on boost real quick but has nothing above 3500rpm :/ correct T4 to vband I think is an adapter I will need. yes as typhoon engine, doesn't need valve springs only the ba models had crappy valve springs oh tell me about it, the heat soak the TMIC gets now is a joke, after a 30 min drive its almost untouchable its so hot. im pretty sure a 400x450x76 mm intercooler will fit in the front without cutting things. that's why I rung plazmaman and got the dimensions from them, as theres is bolt on with no cutting.... im pretty sure???

hey guys, so I used to own a BF MKII F6 Typhoon, sold it and went in to the skyline business with a R34 GTR.... trying to sell It at the moment but replaced it with a F6X. as previously owning a F6 I know what they are capable of, but the thing is this time round its a 4WD and not to many people have modded them. I have a few questions for the guys that have modded them. im only looking to run around 270-300awkw, ive heard running 320awkw or more things don't last for a long time so I think 270-300awkw is safe and some good power for now. FMIC - I for one thing its stupid paying $2000 for plazmaman kit, so I rung plazmaman and asked them the size of the intercooler they use. its 400Wx450Lx76(3 inch ) thick. so im thinking there are plenty of near size intercoolers around to buy, also buy a 3 inch piping kit and cut and use them to make it fit.... might take some playing around but for $500-$800 you have just saved yourself around $1300. thoughts? INJECTORS - from memory I ran 440cc inj in my F6 Typhoon, but im think anywhere around the 600cc mark will be plenty. TURBO - don't get me wrong, I love the turbo response of my GT3582 (0.63)ar comes on boost very quick... but dies off. had the same issue with my F6 it was an animal when you put your foot down (360kw) but top end ran out of puff. so on my GTR I have a HKS T51R KAI BB, it is the best sounding turbo out there. and yep I bought one for the F6X because I love the sound. it might be a bit laggier comared to the standard turbo but I know it will pull all the way to the end and that's the feel I want not having to short shift. it is a 800hp turbo, but its very unique sound will definatly make heads turn. so to that Manifold - I will need a manifold, has anyone got custom or even a aftermarket manifold for there TT or F6x? I will be looking for a top mount v band flange, with 60mm wastegate possibly screamer but unsure yet. I don't think I will need much more to get the desired kw range Im after, ill only be running around 13-16 pound boost so I think that should be plenty. whats everyones thoughts? or suggestions?

yeah I have noticed that my engine is hot when I turn it off, but temp is showing only 1/4 all the time, is there a intercooler that you guys found is best, and price? not looking for more power, but will I need a retune? cheers fellas

hey guys, currently im running 360rwkw in my typhoon but am only running a stock cooler with stock pipes, everything seems fine but just wanna know will I start to break hoses when summer rolls round or will the intercooler not be able to produce cold enough with the summer and this much power? like I said during the winter its been fine. help would be great cheers

hey mate mines just done those exact symtoms and its my cat, its all kinds of f*cked up so its geting replaced as we speak, mine had no power what so ever like I could beat it running so yeah id get a new cat

mate I have a pod filter in my car it is siting in the bottom half of the original air box so it stil has the hole in it coming from the front vents so its sucking cold air maybe you can try that
