im a mechanic and am half way through changin valve springs on my xr6t its fairly involved job and nearly impossible without the right tool (unless you pull the head off) but I have spent a couple of hours making up my own tool which has worked well but just need to modify it a bit to get the back ones so if you do it yourself you will definatly need that atomic tool or similar

hi guys been having trouble with me ba xr6t (manual ) not boosting all the time, have narrowed it down it is a lot worse when engine is up to temp or after I have been driving for a while. here is what I have done so far, been lucky to have another xr6t to swap some bits, have had turbo off tightened all studs bolts etc, replaced acuator cleaned and tried different solenoid swapped boost pressure switch replaced vaccum hoses swapped BOV changed plugs and regapped replaced fuel filter have had exhaust off had front bar off and checked hoses and intercooler and replaced clamps, have swapped engine crossoverpipe have had scanner on vehicle and found no trouble codes and no obvious problems watching live data. Im a mechanic by trade and getting frustrated I cant fix my own car so hopefully I have missed something obvious to some of you gurus out there any advise would be great cheers

what sort of liquid gas setup did you get and from what supplier, im trying to source a kit for mine cheers

still having boosting dramas with me ba. Its still does not boost all the time is seems to happen more when vehicle is has been driven around for a while. for example come out of a roundabout in second, boosts fine change into 3rd and 4th and its very flat and no boost right through the rev range. Have checked all hoses replced clamps replaced acuator cleaned boost solenoid vehicle is stock (no tunes etc) and ideas would good cheers

got 03 ba turbo manual its not boosting all the time have boost guage sometimes when I roll on the throttle its very flat I have checked all hoses etc for boost leaks I replaced the actuator with a adjustable one most of the time it boosts normal im thinking maybe blocked cat any ideas would be helpful cheers
